This is similar to the sauna method but can be done anywhere in the home. Boil about two quarts of water, add a few drops of essential oil, and make a towel tent over the pot with your head underneath and inhale the fragrance over the next ten minutes.

This can be perfect for those who have succumbed to an irritating cold or have blocked up sinuses, using the correct oil and can deliver relief in a matter of minutes.
