I had to cancel my account to keep them from taking my money every month. I cancelled also and was still charged they make it look like you are ordering Christie Brinkley s line then totally switches to some off the wall brand. And it is a trial size they charge you 100. Scammers!!! And the eye cream ravine I didn’t order but got it also for 100. Charge on the same day I cancelled.
Same here. I ordered. Never saw anything that would bring about a commitment of any kind. Then I saw through others comments that I would be charged. I called to cancel the account. I got the account cancelled but was charged anyway. Now I have to go to the bank to get this cancelled as no supervisor was available – so they say. It is minimally false advertisement. Too bad – Christie looks honest and I would have never suspected this.
I agree that it’s a scam. Something similar happened to me with a certain eye cream. Apparently the two companies work together because I received a sample of Aqua Refine with the eye cream, which I had not ordered. What was suppose to be shipping charges only for the eye cream, cost me about $90. When I called I was told I had not cancelled during the 14 days. Then I received another bottle of the eye cream. When my April statement came in, there was another charge of almost $90. I called the company and was able to get $64 credit. I’m very unhappy and will never order any free samples again. My advise to all is that you read the fine print. Not knowing that you have to cancel within a certain number of days can be very costly.

I was scammed. It was supposed to be a trial bottle of aquarefine for 5.95. No mention of occurring products and definitely no mention of 100.dollars.. I got zapped for another 100. Dollars for a toner I said I didn’t want. The deal said 30 day supply 15 day trial. Today is 15th day but now they are saying it was 14 days. I have a screenshot with 15 days listed. 200. They got from my s.s. money. Hugh scam.
This scam pops up quite often. I was scammed back in 2013 with a sample under a different name but the same results. Luckily my bank reversed the charges and somehow put a block on anything coming from this “company”. They put a beautiful, well-known woman up as the one that actually owns the company. I was taken in and it really angers me that I feel for it. I am sticking with my L’Oreal products that I buy at Walgreens or online from Amazon. I forgot to add the representative was very rude and condescending and I asked for a supervisor who also was rude and said apparently I can’t read or count, I gave her an earful and she said, I’m through explaining how this works and hung up on me. UNBELIEVABLE I will report them to the attorney general and Better Business Bureau in Michigan.
I did cancel on the tenth day but they charged me already on the ninth day. They now say it’s actually ten days not 14 because they include the shipping days. How can you try something you don’t even have. They actually said “yeah, it doesn’t make sense but that’s how it works” Then they said they billed a day early so it would post on the due date. WOW! I’m so glad I saw all these comments. I ordered my trial bottle and received it last week. I have called my bank and had the credit card I used cancelled. I have a separate credit card that I use for on-line purchases for this very reason. Yes, I’ve been scammed before. Luckily my bank has always been so diligent in investigating and refunding me my money. That really sucks for those how got scammed. I don’t know how people get away with this. It’s just not right. All of you who had a bad experience you should be contacting your attorney General in your state and call your local news to have them investigate this matter. I am always leary of theses type of
things because they actually charge the c.c. company sooner than they say. Also if you used your credit card notify the c.c. company and have them remove the charges. Fight these scam artists all you can.

I went to Christie Brinkley FB page and post a comment of what happaned, after all, she endorses the product and guess what???? Comment was never posted. Shame on you Christie Brinkley! This is a scam!!! Stay away! You cannot cancel the trial period. The phone number on the bill does not exist. It belongs to a financial company in Singapore. Has nothing to do with beauty products. The phone number that appears on the bill for hundred bucks a month is 1-877-535-6349. That is a financial company. You will never get anybody if you want to cancel this or talk about getting your disputed charges corrected on your credit card. The only option is talking to the financial institution for your credit card and talking to the authorities there . These people are lowlifes

The website makes it appear as though the “trial” is the course of time you get to use the “free” sample of the aqua refine product, (that you pay only shipping for) then, you can decide to purchase or not. WELL the reality is, that apparently buried very deeply on some part of some webpage that I never saw, you are getting yourself into a trial “subscription” of 14 days free, then on that 14th calendar day, your credit card gets whacked with a $100 (almost) charge. Then you pay that monthly. For people who don’t open their mail and check their credit card statements regularly, this could be financially devastating. SHAME ON YOU! aqua refine people for being deliberately misleading. If this product disappeared wrinkles overnight, I could not use it because I feel stupid now every time I look at the bottle.
