Prodroxatone Vitamin C Serum Review
Prodroxatone Vitamin C Serum is a new anti-aging skin cream available exclusively to US residents. Here’s our review of this anti-aging skin cream.
What is Prodroxatone Vitamin C Serum?
Prodroxatone Vitamin C Serum – typically listed simply as Prodroxatone – is an anti-aging skin cream that promises to smooth the look of stubborn fine lines and restore radiant, firmer looking skin.
Together, these benefits reduce the apparent age of your skin.
The cream is exclusively available through an online trial offer. Many people have called this trial offer a “scam” – which is why you see so many negative reviews of Prodroxatone online. Basically, the trial costs $4.95 today, but will eventually charge your credit card hundreds of dollars within 15 to 30 days. All of these charges are silently pre-authorized on your card and are not listed on the main sales page for Prodroxatone.
What’s up with this controversial pricing policy? And does Prodroxatone even actually work as advertised? Let’s find out.
How Does Prodroxatone Vitamin C Serum Work?
Prodroxatone Vitamin C Serum claims to help anyone achieve visibly younger looking skin.
As the name of the cream suggests, vitamin C is a key ingredient. Vitamin C is one of the world’s most powerful antioxidants. In the skin, it promotes the production of collagen.
If you’ve ever researched anti-aging skin care products, then you know that collagen is a protein that gives your skin its natural elasticity. As the body ages, your collagen production goes down. Poor nutrition, alcohol usage, and smoking can also degrade collagen production even further.
Prodroxatone promises to reverse these environmental stressors and help counteract wrinkle formation.
Other active ingredients in the skin cream include aloe vera gel (which naturally contains beta carotene, vitamin C, and vitamin E), as well as glycerine, which can smooth out your skin and fill in microscopic cracks.
Together, all of these ingredients contribute to the three main goals of Prodroxatone Vitamin C Serum, which are:
— Smooth The Look Of Stubborn Fine Lines
— Restore Your Radiant, Firmer Looking Skin
— Brighten Your Skin’s Appearance
Prodroxatone Vitamin C Serum Ingredients
Prodroxatone never lists its full range of ingredients. In fact, we only know about three of the ingredients included in the skin cream: vitamin C, aloe vera gel, and glycerine.
Since no other ingredients are listed, we’re led to assume these are the only three active ingredients included in the cream.
Unfortunately, we don’t know the dosages of any of the ingredients, nor do we know the concentrations. So you just have to trust that the creator of Prodroxatone Vitamin C Serum has included all of the right ingredients at the right dosages – which isn’t really a good thing when you’re applying a topical serum to your skin.
Prodroxatone Vitamin C Serum Pricing
Up above, I mentioned that Prodroxatone had controversial pricing policies. Those pricing policies are controversial because they hide hundreds of dollars of hidden fees in the fine print of the terms and conditions.
Basically, the skin cream is advertised at a price of $4.95 total. However, the real price of the skin cream is $90. Those charges are quietly pre-authorized on your credit card at the time of purchase before eventually being fully charged 14 days after you order your trial.
Here are the important details you need to know about the trial:
— The trial costs $4.95 for shipping and handling today. You need to enter your credit card to pay that amount.
— You have 14 days to receive the product in the mail (which takes 3 to 5 business days), test out the effects of the product, and return it. If you don’t do all of those things within 14 days, then your credit card will be charged a total of $89.95 for the skin cream you already received. Yes, that “free” trial serum was actually way more expensive than advertised.
— Then, 30 days after you first ordered the trial, your credit card will be charged again at $89.95 + $4.95 shipping and handling. You will continue to be charged that same amount every month.
Basically, this is yet another anti-aging skin cream scam. The exclusive goal of Prodroxatone is to lure you into entering your credit card information and then racking up hundreds of dollars in charges on that credit card before you realize those charges have gone through.
When you look up reviews for Prodroxatone online, you’ll find many customers who are angry at being lured into paying these fees. Technically, you agree to the Terms and Conditions when you sign up to order the product. However, most people don’t expect to find hundreds of dollars of hidden fees in the fine print – which is why Prodroxatone can be extremely shady with its pricing.
If you look through the terms and conditions, you’ll find that Prodroxatone does actually offer a price point for its skin cream without requiring you to sign up for the autoship program:
— Prodroxatone (Without Autoship Enrolment): $119.99 + $4.95 shipping and handling (1 ounce bottle)
No matter how you buy it, there’s no doubt that Prodroxatone is one of the most expensive skin creams on the market today. It’s also unavailable through any other retail outlet or brick and mortar store: you can only order it online.
Who Makes Prodroxatone Vitamin C Serum?
Prodroxatone is made by a company called Prodroxatone. That name is actually a registered trademark. The company lists its return address as this:
ProdroxatonePO Box 153201 Suite #1066
Tampa, FL 33684
You can call the company at 1-888-970-7568 or by email at [email protected]. You’ll need to contact the company in either of those two ways if you want to cancel your autoship subscription or request a refund.
If you dig a little deeper into the company, then you’ll learn that its corporate headquarters are at another location in Michigan. Here’s where the company is based:
33717 Woodward #187
Birmingham, MI 48009, USA
If you Google that address, you’ll find that it’s simply a UPS Store in Michigan. The company behind Prodroxatone also does business under the name Quality Skin Products, LLC.
Ultimately, just like many other skin care products on the market today, Prodroxatone Vitamin C Serum is little more than a credit card scam designed to leave you hundreds of dollars in debt for an underpowered, undersized, overpriced moisturizer. You can pick up a better moisturizer at your local pharmacy for $15.
Call your credit card company and tell them your credit card number has been compromised and ask them to issue you a new card.
Pure evil company. won’t answer the phone to let you cancel & won’t call you back either.
How do I cancel my charge prior to receiving the product. We are traveling and am concerned about these potential charges. Thank you.
Prodroxatone is a complete and total scam. This serum/gel doesn’t work. They lied. They will not refund your money back. When you try to call and cancel they will keep telling you it takes time to work. They are totally disgusting and they will hang up in your face. NO results and NO customer service. Poor people that order and poor people that work there for a living, its horrible they are involved in such a lie and poor character. $89.95 + $4.95 S&H. gone!!
How do I cancel my order for this
