What is 1 Up Nutrition?
1 Up Nutrition is a supplement company based in the United States.
The company operates an FDA-registered facility, NSF-certified, and GMP-regulated/inspected facility in the United States, which is where it manufactures and distributes all its products.
The company ships worldwide. It claims that all of its ingredients are individually tested for purity and quality and there are no banned substances in any of their supplements.
1 Up Nutrition Product Lineup
1 Up Nutrition sells about a dozen different bodybuilding supplements and stacks. The supplements are individually marketed towards men and women. Supplements for men are called “His”, as in “His Fat Loss Stack”, while supplements for women are called “Her”, like “Her Pro Performance Stack.”
Here’s 1 Up Nutrition’s complete product lineup:
BCAAs, Glutamine, & L-Carnitine Plus Hydration Complex ($54.99)
This supplement promotes better recovery and enhanced lean muscle growth after a workout. It contains 3.6 grams of L-Leucine, 2.6 grams of L-Glutamine, 1.6 grams of L-Valine, 1.6 grams of L-Isoleucine, 1.6 grams of L-Citrulline, 1 gram of L-Carnitine L-Tartrade, and 500mg of Sustamine (an Alanyl-L-Glutamine proprietary mix). Together, these amino acids promise to promote growth, protein synthesis, performance, and strength.
Her BCAAs, Glutamine & Collagen +Hydration Complex ($54.99)
The women’s version of the 1 Up Nutrition BCAA supplement is virtually identical. The only major difference is in the specific ingredient amounts. See all of the numbers listed above? The women’s version has about 600mg less of each ingredient. It does, however, have 505mg of the Sustamine hydration blend, compared to 500mg on the male supplement.
Pure Rebuild ($49.99)
Pure Rebuild is catered towards the needs of male and female athletes and “supports rebuilding and recovery from the toughest workouts.” It contains a whopping 5.0 grams of L-Glutamine, 5.0 grams of creatine monohydrate, and 2.5 grams of L-Leucine. Basically, it’s a super-powered version of the BCAA supplements without a few of the extra amino acids. You mix one scoop with 8 ounces of water immediately after a workout.
Pro Pump ($49.99)
Pro Pump is 1 Up Nutrition’s preworkout supplement. It promises to boost muscle stimulation, focus, pump, and energy prior to a workout. You mix a single 12 gram scoop into 8 ounces of water about 20 minutes before exercise. 1 Up Nutrition recommends starting with half a scoop to assess individual tolerance. Key ingredients include L-Arginine Alpha Ketogluterate (AAKG), creatine monohydrate, caffeine, taurine, and beta alanine.
Pro Ripped ($59.99)
Pro Ripped calls itself a “5 in 1 extreme fat burner.” It uses ingredients like green tea extract, caffeine, Garcinia cambogia, and rauwolscine HCL to boost thermogenesis, promote energy, mood, and focus, and enhance your appetite control. According to the ingredient chart, the supplement contains a 583mg proprietary blend of Pro-Ripped Male Blend, so it’s impossible to know how much caffeine or Garcinia cambogia you’re getting (although 1 Up Nutrition claims that the Garcinia cambogia contains 60% HCA)
Make Her Lean ($59.99)
Make Her Lean is the female version of the Pro Ripped fat burner. Like Pro Ripped, it uses a 5-in-1 method to burn fat and boost thermogenesis. The specific ingredients, however, are slightly different. Make Her Lean features acai berry and biotin, for example. Like Pro Ripped, it also contains high levels of caffeine, Garcinia cambogia, green tea extract, and cayenne pepper. There’s a 583mg proprietary blend as well as an extra 300mcg dose (100% of your daily recommended value) of biotin.
Recharge PM Burner ($49.99)
Recharge PM Burner promises to promote relaxation and support deep REM sleep, which means you get to maximize your gains and enjoy fat loss while you sleep. You take 2 capsules 30 minutes before going to bed. Key ingredients include 3mg of vitamin B6 (150% of your daily recommended value) as well as GABA, Valerian root extract, L-Tryptophan, L-Carnitine, and melatonin. The ingredients are chosen to make you fall asleep naturally without the use of harsh chemicals.
Beauty Sleep + PM Burner ($49.99)
This is the female version of Recharge PM Burner. It contains a similar list of ingredients – like vitamin B6 and chromium – as well as GABA, L-Tryptophan, and melatonin. Once again, it promotes deep REM sleep to boost your recovery.
Her Daily Cleanse ($49.99)
Want to optimize your digestive system and cleanse your body? Her Daily Cleanse promises to do that using natural ingredients like fennel, psyllium, licorice, and ginger. Basically, it’s a multi-action fiber/cleansing supplement. 1 Up Nutrition claims that these ingredients can help promote anti-bloating, better digestive health, weight loss, and detoxification.
Pro Test ($64.99)
Pro Test is a testosterone booster that promises to use natural, legal ingredients to raise free testosterone levels in the body. Key ingredients include popular test boosting compounds like fenugreek, L-Citrulline, Tribulus Terrestris, and Rhodiola Crenulata. You take one capsule before the first meal of the day and one capsule six hours later.

What Do Customers Have to Say About 1 Up Nutrition?
1 Up Nutrition is praised for its commitment to high-quality ingredients and transparent manufacturing processes. Today, too many supplement companies hide their ingredients or refuse to disclose where your supplements are manufactured. That usually means they come from unregulated warehouses in China, India, or other developing parts of the world. 1 Up Nutrition appears to take a more honest approach.
If there’s one criticism about 1 Up Nutrition, it’s the same criticism lobbied against many supplement companies: many of the supplements contain proprietary formulas and do not list their specific ingredient dosages.
That’s not a big deal for the BCAA supplements, where most of the amino acids have been clearly listed, but it’s more important for the pre workout formulas and fat burners. Some people want to know exactly how much caffeine, for example, they’re putting into their body.
The other criticism is that 1 Up Nutrition supplements tend to be relatively expensive compared to the competition. Even when you purchase the supplements in a stack, you’re paying about $50 to $60 for a one month supply of each supplement.
Of course, the company argues that you need to pay a higher price for higher-quality, natural ingredients.
How to Buy 1 Up Nutrition
All of the prices listed above come from the official 1 Up Nutrition online store. Currently, that’s the only place you can order 1 Up Nutrition products.
The company accepts VISA, American Express, MasterCard, Discover, PayPal, and Google Wallet payments.
In the future, you might see 1 Up Nutrition products appearing at various retailers. The site has a “Retailers” page where it encourages retailers to receive exclusive product discounts by becoming a 1 Up Nutrition retailer today.
Shipping is available around the world. The website also features a number of different workout routines for different parts of your body – including shoulder, arm, leg, and chest workouts for both men and women.
Who Should Use 1 Up Nutrition?
1 Up Nutrition offers a wide variety of supplements and bodybuilding stacks for both men and women. Unlike many bodybuilding supplement companies, 1 Up Nutrition appears committed to an honest and transparent approach.
All supplements are manufactured in the United States in an FDA-certified and monitored 20,000 square foot facility. Each supplement clearly lists its ingredients and there appear to be no fillers in any of the supplements.
