Thinsulin Review – Will It Work For You?

Thinsulin is a weight loss program created by two brothers. One is a bariatric specialist and the other is a psychiatrist. Together, they’ve created “a medical breakthrough” that harness the power of the body and mind together. Here’s our Thinsulin review.

What is Thinsulin?

Thinsulin is a weight loss program that promises to use science-backed information to help you lose weight.

Of course, that’s pretty much the goal of every weight loss program these days. So what makes Thinsulin different?

What makes Thinsulin different is that it was created to take advantage of the power of your body and mind. By taking advantage of these powers and the synergy between your body and mind, you can achieve enormous weight loss benefits – at least, that’s the idea.

The Thinsulin program was created by two brothers. One is a bariatric internist and the other is a psychiatrist. Together, they’ve created a “merger between medicine and psychiatry” that leads to a simple, easy-to-follow, and effective weight loss program.

How Does Thinsulin Work?

Thinsulin relies on principles of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to change your approach to weight loss. Basically, you rewire your brain to make it easier to lose weight without consciously thinking about it all the time.

The reason most diets fail is that people approach them like a diet: they feel they’re a strict set of self-imposed rules. And naturally, they feel the need to take a break from time to time. That leads to problems like stress-eating, cheat days (or cheat weeks), and ultimately, poorer weight loss results.

Thinsulin promises to take a different approach by breaking foods down into categories like Stop (Red), Caution (Yellow), and Go (Green):

— Stop: Stop eating things like sweets (drinks, snacks, and desserts), grains, and starchy vegetables (potatoes, corns, carrots, and beets).

— Caution: Use foods like fruits (apples, oranges, grapes, and berries) and raw nuts cautiously.

— Go: Eat plenty of proteins (meats, fish, seafood, egg whites, etc.) and green, leafy vegetables.

Basically, “Stop” foods spike your insulin levels, wreaking havoc on your body’s ability to lose weight. Caution foods also spike insulin levels, but not in an extreme way. “Go” foods have a minimal impact on your insulin levels and are thought to support a healthy weight loss routine.

Overall, this leads to Thinsulin’s three core principles:

  • “Change your THINKING about food”
  • “Focus on INSULIN, not calories”
  • “Overcome the WEIGHT-LOSS plateau”

How is Insulin Connected to Weight Loss?

Insulin is what your body produces to help break down sugars in the foods you eat. Foods that are rich with sugars lead to a bigger spike in insulin. Imbalanced insulin levels can wreak havoc on weight loss.

Here’s how Thinsulin explains it:

— Step 1) Foods are broken down in the stomach, turning carbs to glucose (sugar). That sugar then enters your bloodstream.

— Step 2) In response, your pancreas produces insulin. That insulin then travels through the bloodstream, telling your cells to absorb glucose to take it out of your bloodstream. Glucose enters your brain, muscle cells, and liver cells.

— Step 3) Your cells have a limited amount of glucose storage. Excess glucose is eventually sent to fat cells.

— Step 4) Insulin tells your fat cells to take in glucose, storing it as fat, which then prevents the fat cells from burning their own fat.

This cycle starts when you eat sweet, sugary, carb-rich foods – like candies or bread. Thinsulin aims to break this cycle and encourage strong weight loss results.

Who Created Thinsulin?

Thinsulin was created by Dr. Charles T. Nguyen, Dr. Tu Song Anh Nguyen, and Mary Ann Marshall.

Dr. Charles T. Nguyen is the medical director of the Lorphen Medical Weight Loss Clinic and completed his psychiatry residency training from the University of California. Dr. Tu Song Anh Nguyen is the medical director of N.N. Medical, another weight loss clinic.

Mary Ann Marshall is a writer and author best-known for advocating vegetarian, vegan, and raw food lifestyles and diets.

Should You Use Thinsulin to Lose Weight?

So far, there’s limited information about Thinsulin available online. We don’t have pricing information or any other data about how it works.

However, Thinsulin appears to advocate a no-nonsense diet that emphasizes cutting out sweet and carb-heavy foods from your diet while restricting moderately unhealthy foods – like starchy vegetables.

The program was created by two doctors who work as medical advisors for weight loss clinics in California in partnership with Mary Ann Marshall, a published author known for advocating raw food, vegetarian, and vegan diets.

  1. Losing weight is 80% diet and 20% exercise, there’s no point in doing hours and hours of cardio and weight training if you’re still eating junk food, because you will not lose any weight, sure you may get fitter but you won’t lose any fat.

Also, if you can’t fit 30 minutes of cardio in a day, 7 minutes will do the trick tremendously, well that’s only if you’re doing 7 minutes of HIIT (High Intensity).

Do at least a 20 second sprint then a 20 second run, alternate for 7 minutes, everyday, you will feel great and revitalized after.

Be careful in which guides you follow, there are TONS of fad diets and lies.
