Relax by Rawligion is a new anti-anxiety cannabidiol drink that comes in a milk beverage. Find out everything you need to know about this popular new product today in our Relax by Rawligion review.
What is Relax by Rawligion?
Relax is a new relaxation drink created by the team at Rawligion. The drink consists of 100% organic hemp milk containing cannabidiol (CBD) oil. Hemp seeds, cashews, dates, coconut oil, vanilla, and water are mixed in for additional health benefits.
The drink was created by Michael Isted, psychotherapist and development consultant for Rawligion. He decided to focus on making a CBD-infused milk because of its medical benefits.
Rawligion is an organic café based in central London. The café teamed up with LoveHemp, a UK-based CBD oil distributor, to bring Relax to market.
How Does Relax Work?
You may already know how CBD works. However, we’ll re-hash it here (no pun intended) for everyone else.
CBD oil is one of many chemical compounds found within cannabis. The thing about CBD is that it’s a chemical compound with non-psychoactive properties. Recent studies have indicated that CBD can have powerful health benefits – like anti-anxiety effects.
Other people believe CBD positively affects your mood, sleep, pain, immune response, and hormone regulation.
You know all the purported health benefits of marijuana? Many people want to access those health benefits without actually “getting high”. CBD is viewed as a way to do that.
CBD is in a legal grey area: marijuana is a controlled substance in most states. Hemp, however, is not. It’s illegal to grow hemp in the United States (Americans buy most of it from Canada, where it’s legal to grow hemp). However, it’s legal to purchase and distribute hemp – as long as it’s below a certain THC threshold (THC is the psychoactive part of marijuana that gets you high).
With that in mind, we get to my point: Relax by Rawligion contains 100% organic hemp as its active ingredient. This hemp contains some amount of CBD. By drinking Relax, you can enjoy the active effects of cannabidiol.
Research also shows that cannabis seeds contain a healthy 3:1 balance of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, or that they’re high in gamma linolenic acid (GLA), an essential omega-6 fatty acid. They’re also a perfect protein containing 20 amino acids, along with the 9 essential amino acids that cannot be produced by our bodies. Oh, and they provide a rich source of nutrients like calcium, iron, magnesium phosphorus, manganese, potassium, zinc, and vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, B6, D, and E.
Relax by Rawligion Ingredients
Relax contains a very straightforward list of ingredients, including hemp seeds, cashews, alkaline water, dates, coconut oil, vanilla, and CBD oil. That’s the full list of ingredients- there are no other listed additives.
It’s also categorized as a 100% organic, cold-pressed drink.
What Does It Taste Like?
Most early reviews for Relax by Rawligion claim that it tastes like almond milk “with a cannabis-like after taste”, according to Herb.co.
Another reviewer at Metro.co.uk agreed that the Relax milk tastes very similar to almond milk, “albeit slightly earthier”. They did agree that it had a “slightly cannabis-like aftertaste”.
Does It Actually Work?
The Relax by Rawligion bottle makes specific claims about the health benefits of the supplement, including:
-Reduce Stress
-Reduce Anxiety
-Pain Relief
-Sleep Aid
We’ve seen plenty of other CBD products launched online that promise similar benefits – but have too little active ingredient to back it up. Rawligion founder John Taba claims that he’s had numerous customers report feelings of calmness and tranquility after drinking the milk, although other people say they feel hardly anything.
In response to these people, Taba recommends that you drink the beverage carefully and “mindfully”. In a quote to Herb.co, Taba said,
“It’s subtle, but so far all who have consumed the drink mindfully have felt the desired effect. I don’t mean to use the word mindfully in a hipster way, just more a case of someone actually paying attention to how they feel before hand, during drinking and afterwards instead of having it as a drink to wash down a meal with!”
In other words, it’s not going to affect you like 3 shots of Jack Daniel’s or a Xanax. But if you pay close attention to how you felt before drinking Relax and how you feel after, then you should notice subtle changes in your mood and emotion.
That Metro.co.uk reviewer listed above, by the way, said his colleague (who has chronic shoulder pain) drank the milk and had the following to say:
“‘I didn’t feel significantly more relaxed but my shoulder definitely felt better that evening and I was very sleepy…I think it’s magical in terms of pain reduction and sleepiness.”
The author of that review article agreed with that sentiment, saying, “I was comatose from 10pm until 7:30 the next morning and woke completely alert.”

How to Buy Relax by Rawligion
I don’t know about you, but I’m getting thirsty just writing this review. I know I’m not alone. So the real question is: where do you buy this stuff? How much does Relax by Rawligion cost?
That’s where I have some bad news. Right now, Relax by Rawligion is available to purchase in-store and online – although orders are limited to residents of central London only.
Obviously, the tradeoff of making organic, “free from” foods with natural ingredients is that they don’t stay drinkable for a long period of time – which makes international shipping difficult.
We’ll keep you updated on Relax by Rawligion if it becomes available outside of central London. Otherwise, you better start booking your flight.
Can we command… i’m leaving in Quebec ( Canada).
