Phen 375 is a diet pill that promises to help you lose weight faster and more easily than ever before. Using “highly refined ingredients”, Phen 375 claims to reduce food cravings while also increasing your metabolism to burn fat.

The supplement is made in America and claims to have sold products to over 200,000 customers across the country. It’s also not cheap: Phen 375 is priced at around $90 for a monthly supply of 30 capsules (including a ludicrous $30 shipping and handling fee).

So what makes Phen 375 worth this high price tag? Let’s take a closer look at how it works.

How Does Phen 375 Work?

Phen 375, also known as Phentemine 375, is a bit misleading: the manufacturer has named the supplement “Phentemine”, but it doesn’t actually appear to contain any “Phentermine”, which is the banned weight loss ingredient that was used throughout the 90s and early 2000s to achieve dangerously fast weight loss.

Today, serious dieters are always looking for a phentermine alternative. Based on the name, you may think that Phentemine 375 is a good alternative. But in reality, this is basically just a caffeine pill loaded with a handful of other dietary ingredients.

Here are the six active ingredients in each capsule of Phen 375:

— Caffeine: Powerful stimulant that is often used as a thermogenic to supplement a weight loss routine.

— L-Carnitine: An amino acid that “gives your body energy getting stored body fat into the bloodstream”, according to the makers of Phen 375.

— Coleus Forskolii Root PE (10% Forskolin): This popular weight loss ingredient has shown limited evidence that it works as advertised, although it may raise cyclic AMP levels and activate adenylyl cyclase, which can help stabilize your metabolism (although not in a very powerful way).

— Citrus Aurantium: Increases the body’s metabolism and fat mobilization.

— Cayenne Pepper: Raises your body temperature, giving you a thermogenic effect that helps you burn more calories.

— Dendrobium Nobile Extract (Derived from Orchids): May soothe your digestive tract.

Together, these ingredients promise to help anyone lose weight. Ingredients like caffeine suppress your appetite and raise your energy, for example, while forskolin may burn fat while raising lean muscle mass throughout your body.

Phen 375 Ingredients

Phen 375 lists some of its ingredients on its official website. It lists all six ingredients listed above, for example, and a handful of others (see below).

Unfortunately, the manufacturer has refused to give us additional information about the dosages of these ingredients. That makes it impossible to compare the effects of Phen 375 to other diet pills: without this information, we just don’t know how or if Phen 375 would work as advertised.

All of the listed ingredients in Phen 375 include:

Calcium carbonate (36% Grain), Chromium (Pikolinate 12%), L-Carnitine (L-Tartrate 68%), Caffeine Power Anhydrous (Capsicum frutescens), Cayenne (Capsicum 10M HU/G), Dendrobium Nobile Extract (from Orchids), Citrus Aurantium (Fruit) extract (Standardized for 10% Synephrine), Coleus Forskolii Root PE (10% Forskolin).

It’s unclear if the manufacturer has added other ingredients, as we never see the full nutritional label.

In any case, none of these ingredients are backed by significant scientific evidence. Even if you take ingredients like cayenne pepper in a high dose, the effects on your weight loss are going to be moderate.

If you think you can take Phen 375 and lose weight while sitting on the couch all day, then you’re wrong: you’ll need to supplement this pill with a strong diet and exercise routine if you want to notice any effects.

How Much Caffeine is in Phen 375?

The original phentermine was a powerful caffeine-like stimulant prized for its ability to encourage rapid weight loss.

Ever since phentermine has been banned, manufacturers have tried to replicate the effects of phentermine using other ingredients.

Caffeine is the easiest and most popular way to replicate these effects. In Phen 375, caffeine appears to be the number one ingredient. However, the manufacturer refuses to explain how much caffeine is in each dose of Phen 375.

What we do know is that each tablet contains 800mg of formula in total. There is approximately 100mg of caffeine in a cup of coffee, and 80mg in a can of Red Bull. We’ve seen diet pills quietly contain 200mg to 300mg of caffeine in each serving, tricking you into thinking you’re getting an enormous energy boost.

That may be the case with Phen 375 – we just don’t know. But if you’re a caffeine-sensitive individual, then the lack of caffeine dosage information should frighten you away.

Phen 375 Pricing

Phen 375 has one of the strangest pricing policies we’ve seen in the diet pill industry. While the product itself is priced at a relatively reasonable rate, the shipping and handling costs are almost as expensive as the supplement. Here’s how pricing breaks down:

— 30 Tabs: $89.94 ($59.99 + $29.95 S+H)
— 90 Tabs: $149.94 ($119.99 + $29.95 S+H)
— 180 Tabs: $269.94 ($239.99 + $29.95 S+H)

This is hands down the most expensive shipping costs we’ve ever seen on a nutritional supplement. Phen 375 comes in a tiny bottle with just 30 capsules in each bottle: it’s not like the manufacturer has to ship an enormous amount of product around the world.

With a little bit of digging, we were able to figure out why Phen 375 has the highest shipping costs in the industry: it’s because the refund doesn’t cover shipping costs.

Phen 375 Refund Policy

All Phen 375 purchases come with a refund policy: if you don’t lose weight in 30 days of taking Phen 375, then you’re eligible for a full refund. However, that refund is stupidly difficult to obtain.

To get the refund, you first need to follow one of the diet plans listed here, Phen375.com, for 30 days while also taking the Phen 375 supplement. these diet plans significantly restrict your caloric intake. They also force you to take two capsules of Phen 375 every day (once before breakfast and once before lunch).

You record your weight throughout the diet plan. Then, if at the end of your diet plan, your weight hasn’t changed, you need to go to a doctor to confirm that you haven’t lose weight – seriously! Here’s what the terms and conditions say:

“If you have not experienced any weight-loss after taking Phen375 and following our diet plan in 30 days, visit a certified doctor present him or her with supporting documentation and request a reliable statement proving there hasn’t been any weight loss.”

I’ve never seen a nutritional supplement force you to visit a doctor to get a refund.

Even if you do get a refund, you won’t even get much money back: shipping and handling, postal and inspection charges are non-refundable. Plus, you only have 45 days from the date you ordered the product (not from the date you received the product).

Ultimately, it’s easier to say that Phen 375 has no refund policy: because this refund policy is so incredibly difficult to obtain that few people will ever bother going through with it.

Don’t get fooled by the name – Phen 375 doesn’t contain any phentermine, which is a proven weight loss compound. Instead, it appears to contain nothing more than a dangerously high dose of caffeine.

The lack of ingredient information combined with the scam-like pricing policy (which charges you $30 for shipping!) suggests that Phen 375 is unlikely to work as advertised. You can find caffeine pills at any pharmacy or online store for a significantly cheaper price – and they’ll probably do an identical job.
