Marley Beverage Co is a beverage retailer that makes two core product lineups: One Drop, a lineup of premium coffee drinks made from natural ingredients, and Mellow Mood, a lineup of relaxation beverages including decaffeinated teas and sparkling waters.
Marley Beverage Co, as you may have guessed, is named after Bob Marley. The beverage lineup was actually created in partnership with Bob Marley’s family – including Bob Marley’s daughter, Cedella Marley. At the company’s “About” page, it explains that they’re “committed to crafting products that are faithful to his legacy.”
That means beverages that are made using natural, unprocessed ingredients that help you relax naturally or become energized naturally. Bob Marley emphasized the importance of using ingredients that came from nature. Marley Beverage Company aims to honor that legacy with its two core product lineups.
What is Mellow Mood?
Mellow Mood is a lineup of relaxation beverages “inspired by Bob’s natural lifestyle and appreciation for all that life offers.” It includes decaffeinated teas and sparkling water to give you a delicious and refreshing way to relax.
All beverages contain similar ingredients, including decaffeinated black tea, pure cane sugar, real fruit juice, and triple filtered water.
These ingredients are mixed with Marley Beverage Co’s proprietary relaxation blend, which is made from natural herbs like chamomile, hops extract, lemon balm, passion flower, and valerian root. These herbs have been used for centuries to reduce stress and encourage relaxation. Many people even take chamomile, passion flower, or valerian before bed to help them fall asleep at night.

What is One Drop?
One Drop is a lineup of coffee-based energy drinks made using a bold Jamaican coffee blend for rich, creamy sweetness.
Beverages contain ingredients like Atobo Cocoa, described as a “dark, natural cocoa powder” that provides the “core of our decadent chocolate flavor” Other ingredients include hormone-free milk, a premium Jamaican coffee blend, and pure cane sugar. The milk comes from rBHT-free dairy cows in upstate New York, which is also where One Drop is brewed.
Varieties of One Drop include Swirl, Mocha, Vanilla, and Banana Split.

Marley Beverage Company was created by VIVA Beverages Inc., and the company refers to itself as both VIVA Beverages Inc. and as Marley Beverage Company.
The company was founded in 2009 and, according to its LinkedIn page, employs between 51 and 200 employees.
In 2012, the company made headlines when its Marley’s Mellow Mood beverage was pulled from a New Jersey school after two kids became sick. There was very little follow-up to this story, and it’s unclear how the kids became sick or even if it was related to the Marley Beverage Co beverages.
