About Happy Family Organics

Happy Family is a premium organic food company that’s changed the way we feed our children. Organic food is when produce and other ingredients are grown without the use of pesticides, synthetic fertilizers, genetically modified organisms, or radiation.

Animals that produce organic meat, poultry, eggs, and dairy products do not take antibiotics or growth hormones. Organic food is often fresher as they tend to be grown locally and better for the environment.

Foods that are not organic and grown with pesticides can increase the chances of cancer. Children and fetuses can often be vulnerable to pesticide exposure because their immune systems are still developing and a pregnant mothers organs are at strain providing for the growing baby.

The ‘mum’ range has products such as oat bars, veggie blends and gummie supplements.

Happy Mama Prenatal snacks and supplements are made to deliver some of the essential nutrition that mums-to-be need to help support a healthy pregnancy.

During pregnancy, a woman’s energy and vitamin and minerals requirements increase, and it is very important that she consumes food which will give her both the energy and the specific nutrients which are essential for maintaining her and her growing baby’s health.

The baby range contains cereal, wafers, yogurts and formulas, providing for those starting solids. Starting solid food sometimes is around 6 months. Before this age, breast milk or infant formula provides all the nutrition your baby requires.

A common first food for a baby is cereal like our Happy Family’s organic brown rice cereal. Grain snacks and oats bars are on offer for tots, whilst growing kids have a variety of yogurts and shakes.

Happy family develop nourishing ingredients help support a mother and her growing baby. Ingredients we know we can rely on to provide the nutrients mother and baby need are:

  • DHA is an Omega-3 fatty acid in the brain, DHA is especially important for baby’s brain development and function.
  • Choline is a B-vitamin, this nutrient supports baby’s brain and eye health and must be consumed through diet.
  • Calcium is the most abundant mineral in the body and a must-have for supporting bone health.
  • Vitamin D promotes calcium absorption in the bones for healthy growth and maintenance.
  • Probiotics are good live bacteria that help support developing the immune system.
  • Since the body doesn’t produce these essential fatty acids on its own, it’s important to consume them through your diet.

The right nutrition matters most in Baby’s First 1,000 Days, which lasts from pregnancy through to a second birthday.

During this time, what you eat and what your baby will eat, will define his or her wellness, both physically and mentally.

Superfoods — like chia, kale, kiwi and quinoa — are the foundation of nutrition philosophy because they are nature’s most powerful ingredients and of course the best kind of products for mum and baby will be full of natural contents.

  • Chia – Eating chia can help to achieve joint, heart and brain health, weight management and provide longer-lasting energy, among other benefits.
  • Kale – Kale can provide you with cholesterol-lowering benefits. It lowers the risk of cancer, and has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits. Also it is known to relieve chronic inflammation and oxidative stress.
  • Kiwi – Excellent source of vitamin C and vitamin K as well as a very good source of copper and dietary fibre.
