FitKloud is a new “lifestyle platform” available for desktop and mobile systems. The platform features nutritional tracking, customizable meal plans, and more. Here’s our FitKloud review.
What is FitKloud?
FitKloud is an online fitness platform in the cloud. The platform features a wide variety of tools, materials, and tracking systems that can improve your overall health and wellness. Those systems include:
- Nutritional Tracking
- 13,000+ Customizable Meal Plans
- Grocery Lists
- Fitness Log
Overall, these features promise to help FitKloud take the guesswork out of the equation. One of the hardest parts about creating a healthy diet and exercise routine is developing a meal plan that works for your unique needs. FitKloud has 50+ meal plans that can accommodate all sorts of different dietary restrictions – like paleo, mass-gaining, or vegan diets.
Each meal plan contains a week’s worth of breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks for each meal type you choose. There are no calculations required. FitKloud does all of the hard work for you.
FitKloud also features nutritional and exercise coaches. This library of experts promises to offer a full-service support system that pushes you towards your goals more quickly.
The app isn’t cheap: you’ll pay $60 per month on the lower plan and $180 per month on the higher plan.
Should you download the FitKloud mobile app? Let’s take a closer look at some of the key features included in FitKloud.
How Does FitKloud Work?
FitKloud is a premium-priced mobile app. You obviously get a lot more value than free fitness and health tracking apps.
There are two versions of FitKloud. One is priced at $59.99 while the other is priced at $179.99 all-inclusive.
$59.99 Plan
The $59.99 plan includes most of the features we mentioned above, including the nutritional and fitness tracking, Fitbit synchronization, and 13,000+ meals designed by real medical doctors. There’s also a grocery list shopping tool and progress tracking in reports.
$179.99 Plan
The $179.99 Plan is the all-inclusive FitKloud experience. It includes everything from the $59.99 plan along with full access to nutritional coaching, full access to a personal training coach, and instant messaging support from your coach. FitKloud is so confident that their $180 plan works that they guarantee results.
FitKloud Features
Here are some of the key features of your FitKloud package:
Meal Plans
These meal plans promise to take the guesswork out of planning your meals. There are over 50 meal plans from which to choose, including meal plans that can accommodate a wide range of lifestyles and choices. There are plans for bodybuilders, paleo dieters, vegans, vegetarians, and more. Each meal plan includes a week’s worth of breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and snacks.
Nutritional Tracking
FitKloud can pair with Fitbit to track your daily activity and determine how many calories you burned. Then, it will compare that with your nutritional information to determine your customized meal plan for the day. This nutritional tracking looks at the calories you burned, for example, then determines the protein, fat, and carbs you need to intake to stick to your nutritional goals. It also uses Fitbit data to determine how many hours you slept.
Grocery Plans
The FitKloud grocery plans give you a grocery list to pick up the next time you swing by the store. One of the hardest parts about adopting a new diet is visiting parts of the store you don’t usually go to, and picking up the right ingredients for new recipes. With FitKloud’s grocery plans, this whole process becomes easier.
Fitness Log
Most fitness apps only allow you to log exercises that they consider to be database-worthy – like conventional running, biking, or swimming. FitKloud, however, tracks any exercise. They have an expansive library that covers all different types of workouts. As they explain it, “Whether you’re a gardener, a hiker, or a car mechanic, we have the data you need.” Any exercise is better than none at all.
Mobile App
FitKloud has mobile apps available for iOS and Android devices, including your iPhone, iPad, and most Android phones and tablets. You can also access FitKloud from any desktop device. Because it’s all over the cloud, all data is synced between devices seamlessly. It’s also a consistent platform across apps and devices. That dashboard displays your daily calorie count, the number of hours you’ve slept today, and the number of steps you’ve walked (tracked by Fitbit or the FitKloud app). To get an idea of the mobile app dashboard, visit this page on FitKloud’s website.
FitKloud Pricing
FitKloud is available at the following prices:
- Premier Membership: $59.99 Per Month
- Onyx Membership: $179.99 Per Month
FitKloud advertises itself as $59.99 and $179.99. However, you don’t learn this is a monthly fee until you actually visit the sales page. Your membership will automatically renew every month until you cancel.
About FitKloud
FitKloud lists the following address as their corporate headquarters:
3 Columbus Circle 15th Floor
New York, NY 10019
However, they claim they’re based in Scottsdale, Arizona.
You can contact the company by email at [email protected].
The company’s About page claims that they aimed to find a niche for the most customizable, personal, and powerful lifestyle app on the market. Most lifestyle brands were a one-size-fits-all design. FitKloud wanted to be more customized.
FitKloud named itself because they believe they have a “Kloud” of fitness professionals who are “passionate about empowering people, along with up-to-the-minute technology.”
You can meet some of the FitKloud coaches at this page. Each coach is accompanied with their LinkedIn profile, a brief bio, and other social media information. There’s also a “Schedule Appointment” button.
Should You Sign Up for FitKloud?
FitKloud is a high-priced meal planning system that costs more than your gym membership. It gives you access to a network of coaches via instant message (although this is only available on the $180/month plan).
Both the $60 and $180 per month plans provide 13,000+ customizable meal plans created by real medical doctors. Each week, these meals are catered to your unique activities and calorie expenditure. You can choose from over 50 different meal plans – including paleo, vegan, vegetarian, mass-gaining, bodybuilding, and more.
Ultimately, FitKloud is a professional nutritionist available on your mobile device at all times. It’s not cheap, but it provides medical-grade support to help you achieve your diet and exercise goals.
