While the product description mainly focuses on Carnitine and a patented blend of the compound known as Carnitech it also includes other ingredients that could help with its energy claims.

- L-carnitine: For those who are deficient in L-carnitine, L-carnitine helps normal heart functioning, and help to muscles including growth. L-carnitine helps the body's natural process of converting fat into energy. Research, however, has not shown that L-carnitine helps athletes.
- Caffeine: Carnitine is not the only ingredient in here that may provide a feeling of energy. The product is made out of green tea powder, delivering 25mg of caffeine. For comparison a cup of coffee contains about 100 mg of caffeine, so the dosage here is actually fairly low, for those who are caffeine sensitive.
- Choline bitartrate: Choline is another ingredient that is normally found in sufficient quantities in the body. Some supplements will add choline in order to balance out another portion of the supplement that may drain choline, although there does not seem to be such a product in this supplement. In terms of athletics, research has not demonstrated that choline aids in athletic performance.
- Inositol: Inositol historically has been used for individuals who have insulin resistant PCOS. It also has strong research supporting its use as an anxiolytic, which may be why it is included in this supplement.
- L-Tyrosine: This ingredient potentially acts as a dopamine precursor, and is in the supplement most likely to give an energy boost. Note that mixing L-Tyrosine with MAOIs may be dangerous, so it is important to consult a doctor before starting consumption of this ingredient.
It is worth noting that Carnitine Liquid was made in a factory where milk, soy, egg, and peanuts are also produced and therefore may not be safe for people with allergies to those compounds.
