Biopelle Tensage Growth Factor – Intensive Serum & Stem Cell Cream?

on

Biopelle Tensage Growth Factor is an anti-aging serum that uses growth factor to help your skin recover from the effects of aging. Read our review to find out if it’s the right choice for you.

What is Biopelle Tensage Growth Factor?

Biopelle Tensage Growth Factor is an anti-aging skin cream that uses “an advanced biorepair complex” to significantly reduce the visible effects of aging.

Also known as Tensange Intensive Serum, the skin cream uses “growth factor” to heal your skin damage. It specifically promises to repair skin damage caused by environmental smoke and toxins, and to help skin recover from the effects of sun damage. Dermatologists may also recommend using the serum to heal the skin after laser and aesthetic treatments.

There are actually a number of different serums and creams under the Biopelle Growth Factor brand. Some of the serums are designed to heal the area around your eyes, while others are designed to moisturize your skin.

How Does Biopelle Tensage Growth Factor Work?

Biopelle Tensage Growth Factor uses something called SCA Biorepair Technology. That may sound fancy – but it’s essentially just snail slime. Seriously! The company describes it as “a special secretion from the Cryptomphalus aspersa snail”. That “special secretion”, conveniently enough, contains growth factors, glycoproteins, and antioxidants that can have powerful healing effects on your skin.

Scientific Evidence for Biopelle Tensage Growth Factor

A quick search online for Cryptomphalus aspersa snail secretions will give you a handful of scientific studies that have been performed on the secretion over the years. These studies typically involve looking at the effectiveness of the snail extract for healing the skin.

This study from 2012, for example, was published in the International Journal of Cosmetic Science. It looked at the effect that the secretion could have on the regenerative properties of your skin when applied topically (which means it was rubbed on the surface of the skin).

The only drawback with this study is that it was performed on in-vitro skin cells (i.e. in a petri dish in a lab). It was not performed on real humans.

Nevertheless, by the end of the study, researchers observed the following:

“These results shed light on the molecular mechanisms underlying the regenerative properties of SCA, based on its promoting effect on skin cell migration, proliferation and survival. Moreover, these results support future clinical uses of SCA in the regeneration of wounded tissues.”

In other words, scientists found that SCA – the same extract used in Biopelle Growth Factor products – increases the proliferation of regenerative skin cells. They claimed these results helped support the future use of SCA in products that regenerated skin cells.

Another study published in the Journal of Drugs in Dermatology in 2013 looked specifically at the growth factors in the snail secretion. They introduced the study by stating that growth factors “are chemical messengers that regulate specific cellular activities such as cell proliferation and formation of the extracellular matrix.”

Researchers in this study actually tested the extract on patients. 25 volunteers with moderate to severe sun damage were treated with an emulsion (with 8% SCA) and a liquid serum (with 40% SCA) on one side of their face, while the other side of the face was treated with a placebo. Researchers analyzed the subjects after 8, 12, and 14 weeks.

Researchers concluded that, “Daily application of topical products containing SCA proved effective and well tolerated for improvement in coarse periocular rhytides and fine facial rhytides. Subjects noted a significant degree of improvement in fines lines at the 8-week time point on the SCA-treated side (P≤.05) but did not report a significant difference in the quality of their skin.”

Overall, participants in this study experienced significant wrinkle reduction using the skin cream. They did not experience a significant improvement in skin quality – just in reducing their wrinkles.

These two studies listed above – and other studies – are the reason why Biopelle Tensage Growth Factor skin creams are making headlines across the internet. If you’re looking for a science-backed skin cream proven to genuinely heal wrinkles in your skin, then this could be the right choice – at least, based on the scientific evidence we’ve seen so far.

What Do Customers Have to Say About Biopelle Tensage Growth Factor?

Typically, looking at skin cream reviews online is a disaster: people are disgusted with skin creams when they don’t work overnight, and other people exaggerate the effects and say a skin cream made them look 10 years younger.

Fortunately, Biopelle Tensage Growth Factor has mostly positive reviews online. At the time of writing, it was holding a 4.1 star out of 5 review on Amazon, where the vast majority (74%) of reviews were 5 stars.

Here are some of the pros and cons we learned reading through reviews:

Pros

-Works effectively to repair skin damage, including sun damage and post-surgical scars

-Recommended by dermatologists across the country

-Several customers said it was the only product they’ve ever used that helped them with acne scars

Brightens the skin, smoothes out wrinkles, and evens tone

-You use the ampules once a week (after the first 7 days), and multiple customers have said that the ampule days are the best days of the week, as they enjoy unbelievable hydration on those days

Cons

-They’re not cheap ($100 to $150)

-One reviewer complained that it made her skin itchy

Overall, Biopelle skin serums are very popular and well-reviewed. The only complaint is that the high price tag puts them out of reach for many customers. There is a product listing on Amazon, although it’s not currently available for sale. Many customers recommend purchasing through Amazon as it’s the cheapest option.
