BedJet is a climate comfort system designed to control the temperature of your bed – so you and your partner can enjoy different temperatures in the same bed. Find out how BedJet works today in our review.
What is BedJet?
Do you and your partner like to sleep at different temperatures? BedJet is one solution. BedJet describes itself as a “climate comfort system” that lets you customize precise temperatures based on your personal preferences.
Basically, BedJet uses a tube to funnel air into your bed. This technology also eliminates body moisture from the bed – so you can sleep more comfortably.
The device works on any sized bed and any type of mattress. It’s a shoebox-sized device that sits underneath your bed, with an air duct running from the device into your bed. It claims to operate quietly.
The BedJet is now in production and available to order online through BedJet.com. It initially received attention after appearing on the TV show Shark Tank.
Let’s take a closer look at the technology behind BedJet.
How Does BedJet Work?
BedJet was created by an ex-NASA space suit engineer, a medical device designer, and “a crack engineering design team and a sleep doctor.”
As you can imagine, this isn’t some basic bedroom fan or electric blanket. Instead, it’s a high-tech piece of equipment that works as a Bluetooth-enabled, microprocessor-controlled, air-driven climate control machine.
The device also comes with acoustic damping technology and a custom barium titanate stone heater that operates below the flash point of dust, helping you avoid “heater odor” (that odd smell you get when you turn on a heater after it’s been sitting and gathering dust for a while).
As the makers of BedJet explain, the device “sits at the wonderful intersection of science, art and safety.” By adding the BedJet to your bed, you can upgrade it to “bed 2.0”.
You can use the BedJet with your own sheets. The manufacturer claims their device works best on sheets with a thread count over 250. Or, if you want to maximize the effectiveness of BedJet, then you can buy the unique BedJet sheets.
The unique BedJet sheet is called the AirComforter sheet. It’s a patent-pending product that uses a specially-designed, luxuriously-soft 100% cotton temperature layer with two separate hollow cavities.
How Does BedJet Dual Zone Work?
If you sleep with a partner every night, then you may have different sleep temperatures. If that’s the case, then BedJet Dual Zone may be an investment that saves your marriage.
Dual Zone, as the name suggests, comes with two BedJet machines and two tubes. You can heat or cool your side of the bed independently of your partner’s side.
How Does Biorhythm Sleep Technology Work?
Many BedJet products also come with Biorhythm Sleep Technology, which claims to fine-tune temperature to help you go to sleep faster, stay asleep longer, and wake up feeling more refreshed.
You can also automatically pre-set your heating and cooling profile for every hour of the night, gradually warming and cooling your bed as you sleep.
There’s even a “wake-up” setting that you can use to wake you up without the annoyance of a noisy alarm clock.

What Do Customers Have to Say About BedJet?
There are over 400 customer reviews posted on Amazon.com. Thus far, the BedJet has a rating of 4.6 stars out of 5. 96% of all reviews posted thus far are 4 stars or higher.
Here are some of the pros and cons we’ve noticed after reading through dozens of these reviews:
Pros
-I feel the cooling almost instantly when I press the remote
-Way more powerful than the Sleep Number
-Great for a natural solution to hot flashes and other conditions
-Unit is super quiet “and you won’t hear much of anything”
-You can control BedJet with your mobile device (like an iPad) or an attached remote control
-Smartphone/mobile app available for iOS and Android
-Excellent customer service
-Many reviews give variations of “this saved my marriage”
Cons
-Pricey
-Remote control is very basic (most people use the app, but if you don’t like having mobile devices in bed, then you may find the remote to be lacking)
Overall, the only real “con” with all BedJet reviews is the price. On Shark Tank, the creators of the product revealed that it costs $98 to produce BedJet. Several reviews believed the final pricing was “exorbitant” based on that information – although that’s approximately the markup we see with other products.
Nevertheless, at this price range, this is obviously a premium-priced product for those who want to pay for better quality.
About BedJet
BedJet, LLC is a Rhode Island-based company located at the following address:
217 Goddard Row
Newport, RI 02840
You can contact the company by email at [email protected] or by phone at 1-401-404-5250.
The technology startup recently appeared on Shark Tank to advertise BedJet. As the company’s About page explains [Bedjet.com/pages/about-us], they’re “not a division of a massive multinational consumer appliance company, nor are we funded by private equity or big corporate capital.”
Instead, they describe themselves as “a true American start-up company based in Rhode Island and Connecticut, full of bright eyed inventors, engineers and gadget nerds.”
The company is entirely self-funded by the founders, including founder and BedJet inventor Mark Aramli (the guy who helped build NASA’s space suit).
Should You Use BedJet to Control Climate in your Bed?
BedJet is a unique proprietary system that involves funneling warm or cold air into your bed at night. Reviews online for the company are largely positive, with many people claiming BedJet changed their marriage for the better.
At this price range, BedJet isn’t a cheap upgrade. The Dual Zone system is priced close to $1,000, while the single-zone systems are priced at $370.
With that price point, BedJet isn’t designed to be a cheap upgrade to your bed. Instead, it’s designed as a lifelong investment in your bed and your home that will improve your sleep patterns using advanced technology and precise temperature-cooling. If that’s a benefit you’re willing to pay for, then BedJet may be the right option for you.
