UltraKrill Review
UltraKrill is a nutritional supplement made by Princeton Nutrients, an American supplement manufacturer. Here’s our UltraKrill review.
What is UltraKrill?
UltraKrill is an omega 3 fatty acid supplement made by a California-based nutritional supplement manufacturer.
Instead of using fish oil for its omega 3 fatty acids, the supplement uses krill oil. Krill are further down the food chain than fish and contain lower levels of mercury and other toxins.
Here’s what the manufacturer of UltraKrill has to say about how the krill is harvested:
“Our UltraKrill is harvested in the deep, pristine waters of Antarctica from wild Krill containing virtually nonexistent levels of mercury and other toxins.”
The formula has a “+” at the end because it contains ingredients in addition to just omega fatty acids. It includes astaxanthin, for example, which is a powerful antioxidant.
How Does UltraKrill From Princeton Nutrients Work?
UltraKrill works by delivering high levels of omega fatty acids and antioxidants like astaxanthin into your body.
Unfortunately, the manufacturer has not disclosed exactly how much fatty acids are included in the supplement, which is a problem when you’re trying to compare EPA/DHA dosages.
Typically, fish oil and krill oil supplements list their dosages because it helps customers compare different supplements against one another.
With UltraKrill, the formula contains an unlisted amount of EPA/DHA. We also don’t know which other ingredients are included in the blend.
In fact, all we really know about the ingredients in UltraKrill is that there’s some amount of astaxanthin, which is labeled as “one of the most powerful antioxidants in the world”. Antioxidants neutralize free radicals within the body, reducing your risk of disease and reducing the effects of aging.
Although UltraKrill doesn’t give us the specific dosage of astaxanthin, the manufacturer claims it has “7 times more astaxanthin than the pure krill oil.”
Aside from this, we know very little about how UltraKrill might work or what its effects may be.

Should You Use UltraKrill to Boost Heart Health and Cognition?
UltraKrill makes bold promises about its health benefits: by taking the supplement daily, you can purportedly boost your heart health and brain health, among other benefits. However, the main problem with UltraKrill is that we have no information about the ingredients or dosages.
Thus, we cannot compare UltraKrill’s stated benefits to scientific studies, which say that taking say, 500mg of EPA and 400mg of DHA is the right dosage. Without this information, it’s impossible to say whether or not UltraKrill works as advertised.
Typically, manufacturers like to compete with one another by listing their dosages. The lack of ingredient information with UltraKrill suggests that the supplement ingredient dosage may be low. When you’re paying $45 for a monthly supply of a supplement, you expect more.
I use VitaPulse and UltraKrill daily and have for approx 5 months. My last thorough blood test which was after I had taken these for 3 months showed my cholesterol and triglyceride levels totally within the normal range. This is the first time since 15 years I had HDL as high. Needless to say, my doctor was amazed and I am no longer taking Crestor. My blood pressure has been staying perfect when it is checked for the first time in 40 years. I am ecstatic and feel like I am 30 years old all over again (I am 67). Both these supplements are wonderful!!!!!
