We always find it interesting that many weight loss supplements or dietary pills are universal. Male and female bodies are drastically different, so why isn’t there a weight loss pill out there that can specifically help each sex separately? It seems that URUS caught on to the idea of targeting separate genders, but does their weight loss pill work?
What Is Urus?
The first thing that we found out about URUS Weight Loss Pills is that the formula they use is proprietary. While many companies choose to hide their ingredients to protect their products, when it comes to supplementation and weight loss products, this is usually a red flag. Essentially this means we are allowed to see what type of ingredients they use in the product but the dosage of each ingredient is hidden.
Urus Natural Weight Loss Capsules Ingredients
Here is the ingredient list for URUS – Weight Loss Pills: peppermint, rhaponticum carthamoides, laminaria sugary, hibiscus, lactose, horsetail, buckthorn, beans, corn silk, dandelion, and birch lead. Let’s take a look a bit closer at some of these ingredients and see if they are indeed worthy for promoting weight loss.
The most promising ingredient in this blend is the birch leaf. It’s also called olive lead and while it doesn’t have a direct correlation to weight loss, it can offer a lot of support with losing those extra pounds. Birch lead can help you regulate your blood sugar. Essentially it helps you reduce the amount of fat your body stores by reducing the amount of insulin your body needs.
The use of peppermint is most likely to reduce bloating and improve digestion which can help you absorb the pill into your body. Again, there is no direct weight loss relation, but it is still helpful.
Using corn silk and rhaponticum carthamoides is very questionable. Both of these haven’t been studied carefully and there aren’t very many human studies which show that they are effective. They are thought to promote muscle growth and lean mass but they are also diuretics, this means they can be dangerous. Ensure you are well hydrated if you decide to use this supplement. Oh, and the same can be said about using dandelion, which seems to be only used to increase the frequency of urination which we guess could make you look leaner but at the same time, this can also increase your dehydration chances.
Laminaria Sugary is a type of seaweed which contains a fair amount of Fucoxanthin. This stuff is what promotes fat loss. There have been many studies done on Fucoxanthin, the problem is that there are just as many studies that state it does indeed help as studies that say otherwise. Meaning that while it may help you get your weight under control, it’s not a guarantee.
Hibiscus is another ingredient with mixed reviews. There are some claims that this flower is actually capable of functioning as a carb inhibitor, this would mean it can reduce your calorie intake from carbs which would result in weight loss. The problem is that there isn’t much research done to support this claim. However, it is well known for lowering blood pressure, so if anything it can be helpful in this aspect.
Now for the ingredients that don’t make sense. Beans, why in the world would you just put “beans” onto your ingredients label without specifying which type of beans? In the best case scenario, URUS is referring to white kidney beans, which offer anti-inflammatory properties, same as buckthorn and horsetail. The question is how does this help with weight loss? We guess technically these ingredients could provide better absorption for the pill but there isn’t anything fat burning related that they have to offer.
Urus Conclusion
The list of ingredients used in URUS Weight Loss Pills is somewhat confusing. While there are a few ingredients, very few, they do seems to offer some sort of fat burning possibilities, the problem is that they aren’t scientifically backed up. So putting trust into these ingredients isn’t viable. Otherwise, we have a list of a bunch of things that reduce inflammation, which we assume is to help absorb the pill into your system but why are there so many different ingredients that do the same thing?
In the end, we are left with more questions than answers after checking out what is in this blend. Taking into account that the dosage is completely hidden by the whole proprietary blend thing, we find it very hard to be able to recommend this weight loss supplement to anyone.
