BPI Niagenix is a nutritional supplement priced at around $80 for 60 capsules. Find out if BPI Niagenix works as advertised today in our review.
What Is BPI Niagenix?
BPI Niagenix is a diet pill that promises to force your body to burn fat for energy. It’s described as a liposomal weight loss formula that increases your metabolism and burns stored fat using cutting edge supplement technology.
Niagenix is made by BPI Sports, which just revealed the supplement as part of its new lineup for GNC. Other members of that lineup include Bam, Amino Strong, and Testex.
All of the formulas are listed as “2 in 1” or “3 in 1” formulas. Niagenix, for example, contains stimulants mixed with multivitamins – like a hefty dose of vitamin D3.
How Does Niagenix Work?
Niagenix hides virtually all of its ingredients inside a proprietary formula, so we don’t know the exact amount of most of the ingredients. All we do know is that there’s 300mg of caffeine and 10,000 IU of vitamin D3, which accounts for 2500% of your daily recommended value.
These ingredients have been mixed with quercetin, carnitine L tartrate, Alpha GPC, and phosphatidylcholine, among other popular fat burners. There’s 1.75g of the proprietary Niagenix blend in total, along with an additional 250mg of the proprietary Liposomal Matrix Delivery System.
Based on the list of ingredients, Niagenix will get your blood pumping, boost your energy, and kickstart your body’s natural fat burning cycles.
There’s 300mg of caffeine in each two capsule serving, so even the most caffeine-hardened bodies should feel a strong boost after taking the supplement (to put that number in perspective, a cup of coffee contains about 100mg of caffeine, and a can of Red Bull contains 80mg of caffeine).
There’s some controversy over the use of such a strong dose of vitamin D. The other supplements released by BPI Sports this week also have a hefty dose of vitamin D (2500% DV and higher).
If you’re taking all of the supplements daily, then your daily dose of vitamin D skyrockets to 10,000 or 20,000% DV. I’ll let you look up the health concerns of vitamin D overdosing on your own, but suffice to say that you shouldn’t take all of these BPI Sports supplements at once for a long period of time.
In any case, quercetin is the first listed ingredient in Niagenix. Quercetin is primarily used to reduce inflammation while also cleaning out your arteries. Many diet pills use quercetin because it’s believed to enhance fat burning, although a 2008 study on rats mostly disproved this.
Nevertheless, quercetin is still known as a powerful anti-inflammatory, which means it can still help you lose weight – and could possibly encourage other health benefits across your body.
Carnitine L-tartrate, on the other hand, is only useful if your body is deficient in L-carnitine. Typically, our bodies produce most of the L-carnitine we need on our own. However, those with poor nutrition, or anyone who exercises excessively, may find themselves to be deficient.
Finally, alpha GPC and phosphatidylcholine are two ingredients we don’t typically see in diet formulas. They’re more common in nootropics. However, both are a proven way to raise acetylcholine levels in your body and your brain.
Higher acetylcholine levels are linked to enhanced cognition, memory, and mood, although there’s not really any evidence showing that it can help you burn fat.
The final ingredient worth mentioning in Niagenix is called paradoxine. This is an ingredient you can find in many major preworkout supplements available today.
If you believe preworkout supplement manufacturers, paradoxine is one of the world’s most powerful fat burners. If you look at research, however, there’s limited evidence that paradoxine reliably leads to fat burning.

BPI Niagenix Review Summary
Niagenix is a weight loss formula that contains a unique blend of ingredients. Not all of the ingredients have been linked to powerful weight loss results.
The use of a high dose of vitamin D3, for example, along with quercetin and choline formulas, hasn’t really been proven to encourage fat burning – although it may help improve your general overall health and support your diet and exercise routine in other ways.
However, other ingredients in Niagenix, including the 300mg dose of caffeine, will help kickstart your metabolism and encourage your body’s natural fat burning.
Priced at $80 for a 30 day supply (60 capsules), Niagenix is one of the more expensive diet pills on the market. However, if you’re interested in trying the unique ingredients inside the formula, then BPI Sports Niagenix may be worth the price.
