truBrain – Pure Nootropic Brain Ingredients Supplement?

on

truBrain is a lineup of nootropic supplements developed by some of the industry’s top neuroscientists. truBrain promises to optimize mental clarity and focus using a diverse range of scientifically-proven ingredients, including everything from magnesium to Theanine.

You may have seen truBrain’s popular lineup of “Think Drinks” advertised across the country. The company also manufactures a popular nootropic stack called “The Original.”

Since 2012, truBrain has offered some of the industry’s most exciting nootropic supplements. But do they actually work as promised? Is truBrain any more powerful than a standard racetam or cholinergic? Today, I’m going to answer those questions and help you decide if truBrain is right for you.

What Is truBrain?

truBrain is a company founded in 2012 by a group of neuroscientists. These neuroscientists were excited by the advancements in the nootropic industry, but were frustrated by the lack of quality science and research.

truBrain was founded with the goal of creating high-quality nootropic supplements backed by real, hard scientific results. Today, truBrain offers traditional nootropic capsules as well as a new lineup of Think Drinks, which are the world’s first nootropic drinks.

Ultimately, truBrain products tend to be right in line with their competitors using a pill or powder. However, all nootropic supplements are manufactured in California – which is also where truBrain is based. You’re getting quality ingredients and real science.

truBrain promises to help people optimize cognitive performance in a safe and effective way. Below, you’ll learn how truBrain’s unique nootropic formula works.

What are truBrain Think Drinks?

First, let’s talk about Think Drinks, because they’re the most unique product truBrain has to offer. Think Drinks claim to be the world’s first nootropic drinks. As far as I can tell, that’s true: most other nootropic companies are focusing on capsules and pills.

truBrain Think Drinks come in convenient 1oz shots. The drink itself is in a soft package. You rip open the top, empty the liquid into your mouth, and prepare for a cognitive boost.

Each package of truBrain Think Drinks comes with 30 Think Drinks and 4 more “Turbo” drinks. You take one drink per day in the morning or afternoon. The “Turbo” drinks are for days when you require extra cognitive performance.

There are two different flavors available: the standard Think Drink comes in cranberry pomegranate flavor, while the Turbo drinks come in strawberry banana flavor.

The standard Think Drink supplement uses Piracetam as its active ingredient, while the Turbo supplements use the more powerful Oxiracetam.

truBrain Think Drink Ingredients

Here are the ingredients within each truBrain Think Drink:

Magnesium:

Magnesium regulates energy within the body and reduces cellular stress caused by toxic levels of excitatory neurotransmitters. You get magnesium from spinach, but most of us don’t get the recommended daily dose of magnesium on a regular basis.

CDP Choline:

Commonly found in other nootropic supplements, CDP Choline is a precursor to acetylcholine, which plays a critical role in memory formation, attention, and learning.

Piracetam:

Piracetam is likely the most active ingredient in truBrain. truBrain calls Piracetam the “frontman” of Think Drinks, and it has been shown to optimize neurotransmission, blood flow, oxygen consumption, and neuroprotectivity, all of which can have powerful benefits on your cognitive health.

Tyrosine:

This is a powerful amino acid which has been showed to improve alertness. It’s a precursor to dopamine, which is the brain’s “feel good” neurotransmitter. Tyrosine has been linked to better cognitive functionality and improved mood.

Oxiracetam:

If Piracetam is the frontman for truBrain Think Drinks, Oxiracetam is the “jet fuel”. Normal Think Drinks do not have Oxiracetam. However, the “Turbo” packages all have Oxiracetam as their primary ingredient. Oxiracetam has all of the same cognitive benefits of Piracetam, but has been shown to be anywhere from 10 times to 30 times more powerful in clinical testing.

Carnitine:

Carnitine increases energy production in the mitochondria, which are the power plants in your cells. This has been shown to boost physical and mental energy.

Theanine:

Theanine is found in green tea and has powerful nootropic benefits. It’s been scientifically proven to deliver calming effects by increasing GABA levels, which is great for stress relief.

Noopept:

Noopept is a highly effective nootropic ingredient that is known to boost and improve cognitive functions in the brain. Many users label it as one of the strongest and most effective nootropic ingredients sold today.

Natural Sweeteners:

On their own, the ingredients listed above would taste awful. Like, so awful that you wouldn’t be able to drink them. That’s why truBrain also added seven different natural sweeteners, including pomegranate, Stevia, blue agave, cranberry, sugar cane, and monk fruit. These sweeteners are purely for taste, although some believe they have some nootropic benefits of their own.

Ultimately, all of the powerful ingredients listed above lead to some powerful benefits. You can increase productivity, boost memory, improve focus, and enhance your overall cognitive health and performance.

truBrain’s “The Original” Nootropic Stack

This wouldn’t be a good truBrain review without mentioning The Original, which is truBrain’s battle-tested nootropic stack.

Unlike Think Drinks, The Original comes in the form of a capsule. Each package of The Original features 20 packets for the morning, 20 for the afternoon, and 4 “Turbo” packets for extra strenuous days.

The Original actually features mostly the same ingredients as the Think Drinks I described above. Those ingredients include magnesium, CDP Choline, Piracetam, tyrosine, carnitine, and Theanine. There’s also Oxiracetam in the Turbo capsules.

But there’s one major difference between The Original and Think Drinks: Think Drinks have caffeine, while The Original does not. Each Think Drink contains approximately 80 to 100mg of caffeine.

What does that mean for you? It means you can safely take The Original and drink coffee during the day to maximize cognitive benefits.

Another difference between the two supplements is the addition of DHA in The Original. DHA is an omega 3 essential fatty acid that comes from algae. It’s been shown to reduce cell damage and promote the natural rebuilding of new cell membranes.

Of course, the final difference is that capsules lack the same flavoring sweeteners as Think Drinks. Other than that, the two products offer the same benefits and mostly the same ingredients.

Which truBrain Product Is Right For Me?

When you visit the truBrain website, there are three different products to choose from:

— Think Drinks (Original & Boost) (liquid)
— The Original (capsules)
— Starter Packs (capsules and liquids)

The starter packs are simply trial versions of both the Think Drinks and The Original.

The Think Drinks and The Original capsules, on the other hand, are essentially the same thing.

Do you want to taste your nootropic supplement and get a caffeine boost? Buy Think Drinks.

Do you want to discretely take one capsule in the morning and one in the afternoon? Buy The Original. Either way, you’re getting the same powerful cognitive benefits.

truBrain Pricing

As mentioned above, truBrain is based in California. All truBrain products are also manufactured in California. That’s great if you care about quality and safe ingredients, although this higher level of quality also means a higher price tag.

Here is how the pricing break down, whether you choose the Caffeine Free or Regular Drink version. Pricing Breakdown:

  • Light: 20 drinks = $49 Per Month
    • Subscribe & Save 3 Months = $44 Per Month (Save 10%)
    • Subscribe & Save 6 Months = $39 Per Month (Save 20%)
    • Subscribe & Save 12 Months = $34 Per Month (Save 30%)
  • Most Popular: 30 drinks = $75 Per Month
    • Subscribe & Save 3 Months = $58 Per Month (Save 10%)
    • Subscribe & Save 3 Months = $52 Per Month (Save 20%)
    • Subscribe & Save 3 Months = $45 Per Month (Save 30%)
  • Power Pack: 60 drinks = $145 Per Month
    • Subscribe & Save 3 Months = $112 Per Month (Save 10%)
    • Subscribe & Save 3 Months = $100 Per Month (Save 20%)
    • Subscribe & Save 3 Months = $87 Per Month (Save 30%)

If you don’t want to commit, I recommend getting a truBrain trial. You can order a trial order of any truBrain for $19.00. That trial order gives you 10 drinks, after which you can order one of the full subscriptions listed above.

Those prices may seem right on par with most other nootropics, but truBrain regularly sells out of its lineup. Demand has skyrocketed over the past few months at truBrain.

Conclusion: Does truBrain live up to the hype?

truBrain was created with the goal of taking all the benefits of coffee and energy drinks and streamlining those benefits into a healthier delivery system.

Unlike many other nootropic supplements on the market, truBrain is manufactured in the United States and the company was founded in partnership with real neuroscientists.

The pricing tends to in line with other nootropic supplements. But that price comes with an assurance of quality and reliable ingredients.

Whether you buy the Think Drinks or the truBrain capsules, you’re buying a Piracetam supplement (with four additional Oxiracetam supplements included in each package). Piracetam is good for beginners, although more advanced nootropic users might find the effects to be too weak.

If you’re the type of consumer who can afford to spend a little more to get higher quality, then truBrain is a good nootropic for beginner to intermediate users as well as more advanced users now that the formula includes Noopept.

  1. TruBrain, has ingredients called Piracetam and Oxiracetam. Piracetam and Oxiracetam in the United States have NOT been approved by the FDA for use in any medical application, nor have they been approved by the FDA for dietary supplement consumption. How is this company able to manufacture and distribute products that contain Piracetam and Oxiracetam in the United States?

  2. BE CAREFUL
Very shady way of selling their products.
You can’t just buy but have to subscribe!!

And obviously you can’t unsubscribe by yourself and have to send them an email to do so.

When I asked a refund on the subscription I didn’t ask they told me 2 things :
    > Learn to read
    > this product is made for you so we can’t take it back
What is bullshit. It only means they are a marketing company not making their product.
And about the effect of their product I found out it worked well for a week then since no more focusing effect I am expecting from such a product.
