Tinnitus Terminator Review – Worth It?

The Tinnitus Terminator is a form of sound therapy to relieve the ringing in your ears. This is our review.

What is Tinnitus Terminator?

The Tinnitus Terminator program was designed with the intent to correct the imbalance inside your ear that causes the ringing noise. Many people experience this, but a variety of remedies besides sound therapy are often prescribed. Doctors often prescribe medication or surgery, if the condition is severe enough.

Unfortunately, a medication only eliminates the issue for a short period of time and surgery can be expensive and painful. However, once Timothy Seaton heard about particular case studies that go over the way that sound can affect the brain and the ears, he decided to try to find a solution. According to the Tinnitus Terminator program, he did.

The first step is an evaluation questionnaire. This form allows the company to gauge how severe your tinnitus is, which will determine which sound recordings are necessary. The rest is up to you, as the consumer.

The company states that the program is safe for any age, though it does not specifically state children as being qualified consumers. Since the program is not a supplement, it is safe to assume that a child that is afflicted with tinnitus can use it, but you should consult with your pediatrician.

Safe for any age

Tinnitus Terminator is available in a 30-Day kick-start program, which includes:

  • “Listening session” charts and times
  • Weekly report forms for tracking your progress
  • A categorized list of all the sound therapy sessions based on what part of the brain they work on
  • A technical breakdown of how the sounds have been altered or enhanced for maximum potency
  • FAQ list for tinnitus, describing the way it disrupts the ear canals and potential causes
  • A general “How To” section to help you protect your hearing during the program

How Tinnitus Terminator Works

When you order the program, you get a lot of merchandise, but the most important part is the sound recordings that are designed to “trick” your brain into being reprogrammed. This task is essential to eliminating the ringing in your ears.

According to the program, you will no longer need to try earwax flushing, steroids, antibiotics, hearing aid devices, or drainage tubes to alleviate the high-pitched noise. This reduces the cost you spend on ear doctors, co-pays, and potential surgeries.

If you correctly follow the techniques in the program, the maker promises that your tinnitus will be gone after a single month. However, he still offers 60 days to try out the program. The program is claimed to have been tested by 43,000 people to date.

The program works by playing a special set of customized acoustic “stimulus” sounds, helping to promote the “neural flexibility” within your ear canal. This allegedly stops tinnitus-related issues. Essentially, the program works to retrain your brain and stimulate the proper areas of the ear. The other part of the program uses computer-based exercises that are designed to help improve the brain’s ability to process sound, speech and memory.

Between these two techniques, the Tinnitus Terminator helps to alleviate the pain and uncomfortable state of your ears.

Using Tinnitus Terminator

The Tinnitus Terminator seems relatively easy to use and barely requires any time commitment.

The sound therapy recordings are meant to be played two times a week, and it doesn’t matter what days you use it. The recordings are brief, only 15 minutes at a time.

The program comes with specific instructions that detail how to use the recordings to “cut out the internal invasion of sound, quiet your mind, promote relaxation and renew your outlook on life.” You don’t even need a CD player to use it. The program is accessible from your computer, iPad or smart phone. If you have questions about the details, you can print, download and listen to anything from the program at any time.

Pricing for Tinnitus Terminator

While the maker dwells on the ability to price the program at $197 multiple times, he ends up settling on $67 for the overall cost. There is no information about if this program requires a subscription, or if it is a one-time purchase.

However, the program’s main focus seems to be on the urgency of purchasing the project, making the consumer curious if they would even be able to return the product if necessary. Tinnitus Terminator is said to have be derived from a music studio that would likely lose business if this health solution was released, which is odd to say when the advertisement is so public.

The Creator of Tinnitus Terminator

Timothy Seaton is the creator of Tinnitus Terminator, who has struggled with ear-ringing issues for many years. He claims that hearing the acoustic noises he discovered has personally helped with his hearing issues. He also states that he is “not bothering with profits,” while charging a $67 price tag.

The only way to contact the company is by filling out the electronic form, which promises a reply within 24 hours. This limited contact information is not very conducive to their return policy.

Conclusion

This program seems to have some reputable science behind it, but any consumer should be weary of a company that urges the quick sale of a product due to limited availability, as this often implies a scam. If fact, the disclaimer page states, specifically, “The website's content and the product for sale is based upon the author's opinion and is provided solely on an AS IS and AS AVAILABLE basis.”
