on

Slenderiix is a weight loss system that promises to alleviate hunger, flush toxins from your body, and help you lose weight fast. Read our Slenderiix review to find out if it actually works.

What is Slenderiix?

Slenderiix is a homeopathic weight loss system that promises to help you lose 13 to 16 pounds in just 28 days. Unlike other homeopathic products on the market today, Slenderiix also claims to be “clinically proven” to work.

Slenderiix is just one part of a two part system advertised on SlenderiixDiet.com, the official website. That two part system involves taking Slenderiix and Xceler8 simultaneously. If you follow these instructions over a 30 day period, you’ll enjoy double digit weight loss.

(Oh, and you also have to reduce your caloric intake to 1250 calories per day while exercising 5 days a week for 30 minutes per day).

Other advertised benefits of the Slenderiix system include:

Obviously, Slenderiix sounds too good to be true. So how does this ambitious weight loss system actually work? Keep reading to find out and also examine the network marketing model site of the company.

How Does Slenderiix Claim to Work?

Typically, the only way to lose 13 to 16 pounds in a 28 day period is to eat very little food while exercising frequently. So how does the Slenderiix system work?

The company explains that Slenderiix is made up of “100% homeopathic ingredients” found in the Homeopathic Pharmacopeia of the United States (HPUS). That formula is clinically proven to lead to speedy weight loss, according to the makers of Slenderiix.

All you need to do to lose weight is to eat fewer than 1,250 calories per day while taking the Slenderiix and Xceler8 supplements at the same time.

The formula was developed by Dr. Ray D. Strand, a graduate of the University of Colorado Medical School who has practiced family medicine for over 35 years. Dr. Ray and the team behind Slenderiix came up with a two phase program, as outlined below.

Phase 1: Preparation Phase

During the preparation phase, you continually to eat as you normally do (although you eliminate fast food from your diet). You start to take drops of Slenderiix and Xcler8 three times per day before meals. This prepares your body for the next phase of fat burning.

During this phase, it’s also recommended that you eat healthy fats – like avocado, raw nuts, seeds, and fish oil. These, according to Dr. Ray and his team, “all help to rebalance body fat stores to more healthful ratios, paving the way for optimal health goals and ultimate fat loss I the next phase”.

Phase 2

The second phase of the Slenderiix lasts 30 to 120 days, depending on your weight loss goals. The longer you stay on the program, the more weight you’ll lose.

Starting on day three of your program, you’ll need to restrict your caloric intake to fewer than 1250 calories per day. To help, it’s recommended that you take ARIIX’s PureNourish meal replacement shake.

You should also drink at least 100 ounces of pure filtered water every day. Conveniently, there’s also an ARIIX Puritii Filter you can purchase so you can keep purified water nearby at all times.

While on the restricted calorie diet, you’re encouraged to walk, hike, swim, jog, or bike for 15 to 30 minutes per day, 5 times per week.

Finally, you stick to the Slenderiix diet program, as outlined below.

The Slenderiix Diet: What to Eat

Your Slenderiix plate should consist of the following ratios:

  • 45% vegetables from the approved food list
  • 25% fruit from the approved food list
  • 100 oz of water
  • 5% healthy fats from the approved food list
  • 25% protein from the approved food list

Approved Proteins

The makers of the diet recommend chicken, eggs, turkey, turkey bacon, venison, roast beef, halibut or any white fish, salmon, tuna, lobster, crab, or shrimp as sources of protein. They also claim that vegetarian sources of protein will work, including quinoa, tofu, and nuts.

Approved Healthy Fats

Healthy fats approved for the Slenderiix program include hemp seeds, pumpkin seeds, walnuts, and chia seeds. Take no more than 2 oz of these seeds every day. You can also take2 tablespoons of coconut oil per day.

Approved Vegetables

Not all vegetables are allowed on the Slenderiix program. The approved list of vegetables includes artichokes, arugula, asparagus, bean sprouts, bell peppers, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cabbage, carrots, cauliflower, celery, chili peppers, collard greens, cucumbers, dill pickles, garlic, green beans, kale, lettuce, mushrooms, onions, parsley, peas, radishes, summer squash, spinach, tomatoes, and zucchini.

Approved Fruits

Slenderiix recommends picking organic fruits wherever possible. You should also pick fruits low in sugar. Some of the best options include apples, strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, and grapefruit. You can also choose from the “second best” tier, which includes pears, peaches, plums fresh figs, and kiwi, or the “third best” tier, which is oranges, tangerines, and nectarines.

Slenderiix Ingredients

What are you putting into your body when you take Slenderiix? Like other homeopathic formulas, the vast majority of Slenderiix is water. The active ingredients are diluted to a point that they’re not likely to be effective according to any scientific evidence we have today.

  • Active Ingredients: Ammonium bromatum 12X, Avena sativa 6X, Calcarea carbonica 6X, Fucus vesiculosus 6X, Graphites 12X, Ignatia amara 6X, Lycopodium clavatum 6X, Nux vomica 6X, Sulfuricum acidum 6X, and Thyroidinum 6X.
  • Inactive Ingredients: Grain alcohol (20%), natural flavors, stevia leaf, USP purified water.

Essentially, Slenderiix is purified water mixed with grain alcohol, natural flavors, and stevia.

Xceler8 Ingredients

Xceler8 contains the following ingredients:

  • 600mcg of Vitamin B12 (10,000% Daily Value)
  • 100mcg of Biotin (33% Daily Value)
  • 10mg of Rosehips Fruit Extract
  • 2.5mg of Acerola Fruit
  • 37.5mg of Proprietary Energy Blend (Green tea leaf extract, ashwagandha root extract, Rhodiola rosea root extract)
  • Other Ingredients: Vegetable glycerin, water, stevia leaf extract, peppermint essential oil

Xceler8 has weirdly low doses of common weight loss ingredients. Green tea leaf extract, for example, is a popular weight loss aid. However, in doses as small as 37.5mg, it has shown no evidence of any weight loss results in humans. Typically, supplements contain 200mg to 500mg of green tea extract – if not more.

Meanwhile, rosehips fruit extract has shown some ability to suppress appetite, although limited human evidence has shown any weight loss results from using rosehip extract, especially at a dose of just 10mg.

Slenderiix Pricing

Slenderiix is more expensive than most weight loss products sold online today. In fact, it’s surprisingly expensive considering how small the doses and bottles are. Here’s how pricing breaks down:

  • 1 Bottle of Slenderiix and 1 Bottle of Xceler8 Weight Loss Drops: $149 USD
  • 2 Bottles of Each: $279
  • 3 Bottles of Each: $419

There’s also something called the Slenderiiz Plus Program (yes, with a Z). That program costs $299 + $9.95 shipping and includes four additional supplements along with 1 bottle each of Slenderiix and Xceler8.

Scientific Evidence for Slenderiix

Slenderiix frequently mentions the fact that it’s “clinically proven” to help you lose weight. What study are they referring to?

The only source for that study is this page on the official Slenderiix website, which describes the study as a “randomized, blind, placebo-controlled cross-over study”. That study also references homeopathy as a medical system “with a proven track record of safety and efficacy”.

Only 23 individuals were involved in the study: 20 females and 3 men ranging in age from 21 to 75. Individuals were already overweight or obese at the beginning of the trial, with the average weight for men being 259.3 pounds and the average weight for women being 182.8 (on average).

Participants followed a 1250 calorie diet while eating a low-glycemic, low starch, functional food plan. All members of the group followed this same diet while taking different amounts of Slenderiix, Xceler8, Rejuveniix, Nutrifii Vitamins, and Restoriix detox supplement. There was no “control” group that didn’t take any supplements. All groups took at least one supplement.

By the end of the study, only 19 subjects had completed the program (it lasted 12 weeks). Researchers found there was a statistically significant difference in weight loss between the groups. The non-control groups lost an average of 0.34 pounds per day by week 12, and the control group lost an average of 0.24 pounds per day by week 12.

There are obviously some big problems with this study. The first problem is that it involved just 23 participants (19 completed the trial). The second problem is that the control groups were allowed to take supplements at various points in the trial.

The clinical trial was not published in any peer-reviewed journal. The only source we could find online was on the SlenderiixDiet.com website.

Should You Follow the Slenderiix Diet to Lose Weight?

The Slenderiix diet requires you to eat fewer than 1250 calories per day while exercising 30 minutes a day for 5 days a week. While on this extreme routine, you also place drops of Slenderiix and Xceler8 under your tongue before each meal.

In one clinical trial involving 19 people, the Slenderiix program was shown to lead to slightly better weight loss results than solely following a calorie-reduction diet and exercise routine. However, that study had some major flaws, as outlined above.

As far as we can tell, Slenderiix contains mostly water backed by no scientific evidence, while Xceler8 contains unusually low doses of weight loss ingredients like green tea extract.

Ultimately, based on the extremely high price of Slenderiix and the fact that the only “evidence” comes from an awkward study with a small sample size, there seems to be no reason to buy Slenderiix.

If you eat 1250 calories per day and exercise 5 days a week, you’re guaranteed to lose weight regardless of whether or not you place drops of an expensive homeopathic liquid under your tongue.
