  1. You want a FREE diet plan? I know one that works because I used it and lost 20lbs in 4 weeks with little to NO exercise and not counting calories. I kept it off while eating what I want, including junk food. Here’s my story: I lost a total of 60lbs having maintained the loss for over a year. I fluctuate 2-3lbs up or down per week, holding my weight!

    I hit 300lbs and knew I needed change. First I planned to watch what I ate and eat less; after two years of struggling I was only down 20lbs! I knew that wasn’t the answer, so I did the so-called correct way: hit the gym and counted every calorie: I was put on a 1,800 calorie a day limit by the gym coach and he said I’d lose about 2lbs a week with an hour of exercise 3-4 times a week at the gym. I wanted to lose weight faster, so I put myself on a 1,200 to 1,500 a day calorie limit and visited the gym 2-3 hours a day 5-6 days a week. After 3 months I lost another 20lbs, better than 2 years, but I often felt hungry, tired and wasted so much time at the gym! Then the answer came: I lost 20lbs in 4 weeks with little to NO exercise, NOT feeling hungry, enjoying my meals and snacks too. I quit the gym membership and never looked back! I maintained my weight for over a year. I plan to drop another 40lbs! God is good all the time and all the time God is good.

    How did I do it? I limit my junk food, enjoying some, I don’t count calories, except junk food calories, and eat what I want, no specific food plan. Realizing some foods are higher in calories than others from when I counted calories, I don’t indulge in large portions of those foods. The secret weapon, in weight loss and added health, eat a small amount of potatoes, a complex carb, and a lot of seasoned vegetables, using the same seasonings I put on steak, pork or chicken, grill mates or single shake types, whatever flavors I like. If eating fast food, counter it with the next meal being potatoes and vegetables! I season both the potatoes and vegetables. It works because most vegetables have very low calories. One 5lbs bag of mixed vegetables is 500-750 calories and I’m full long before finishing the bag. I take frozen vegetables, put them on a cookie sheet, add pre-cooked diced potatoes and bake at 400 for about 20 minutes. One week I did NOT exercise, eating only potatoes and seasoned vegetables each meal and a very small amount of mixed nuts and raisins for protein: I lost 7lbs! That’s one pound a day!

    That’s my story and it works great, although I warn you when not eating vegetables, my craving for more is there; when eating vegetables it’s not. I can eat a burger, fries and soda, be full, and still crave more; not so when eating vegetables and potatoes! I’m satisfied. Hope this helps someone; it’s FREE for those wanting a free option.   7. Just paid for The Shepard’s Diet. I was offered other programs but declined. I received a email acknowledging my purchase and instructions for downloading my books. They also offered to send me books thru the mail if I paid shipping charges of 9.95 but I decided to download and print. I clicked the download button and when the book was on the screen I right clicked my mouse and clicked on “Saved As”. I did this for each book then went to my documents and printed each book.
    It is true that alot of this info is general knowledge for people who have studied any thing on foods and how sugar and carbs affect your body. I have not read every word yet but I have read enough that if you follow the program you will loose weight. No sugar or empty carbs. Complex carbs and good fat. She uses alot of cream cheese, butter, greenbeans, salads and proteins. The drinks look like they will be good.
    If you are serious about weight loss then it will work for you. Just be prepared to give up sugar and starches.

  10. I ordered, but feel conflicted by their sneaky way to sell additional items. You click no they keep after you until offering you their next set of books for $7.95, instead of over $60 like they start with. Then there are all the other products they promote. I am suspicious, but am willing to look at it. I feel I will have to go through the hassle of trying to return and get my money back, but I am willing to give it a try. Sounds good.

  16. You need to be very careful of what you put in your mouth, invest time in yourself and do some true excercise, and check your GENES!

    Many people are suseptable to obesity do to their ancestry! Fact!

    There is NO EASY WAY ABOUT IT!

    Cut the fake food out, cut your soda/ soft drinks, cut your purchased breads, make your own if you can, cut your jams the majority of meat, especially Chicken, do NOT “JUST WALK”, cardio contrary to what many say will NOT BURN THE FAT WHERE YOU REALLY NEED IT!

    EMPTY YOUR HOUSE FROM TEMPTATIONS! Do NOT BUY JUNK FOOD, DO NOT BUY Drinks, except for a small amount of red wine. If you can, eat REAL CHEESE, but just a little bit, if your body can TOLERATE IT. If you become slightly drowsy from dairy, avoid it!

    Drink water, drink a fair amount of water! Have plenty of veggies and then some fruit NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND. Have plenty of wild caught seafood, NOT GROWN, but careful of the type of fish you eat and how you prepare it. If you can eat raw tuna and salmon, like in sushi, great, if not, cure it a little.
    Eat meat only a couple of time a month!

    Do excerise, ie: ABS, work on your muscles, walking etc gets your cardio up, once you have warmed up, after stretches etc go in to the workout and do light muscle excersise that works in tandem, like both hands, both legs etc.

    Then, your body will love you for it!
    It needs patience, it needs commitment.

    • Aries1470, apparently you don’t read much of the books (or understand the religions) you mentioned or you would see there is much more to this than your condescension indicates. The Bible has been proven to be an historically accurate book. There are thousands of pieces of great advice whether or not you believe in Jesus Christ. Food intake just happens to be one subject. By your user name I see you put some credence in the divination of the stars so why is this idea so far fetched?
      Though I don’t like reading much from the computer screen as it bothers my eyes terribly to just do my school work on it, I agree with Diana Salerno about it costing more to take a family of 4 out to eat just fast food one time lately.
      Those not understanding that hard work deserves a fair wage, it’s biblical too. Romans 4:4, “Now to the one who works, his wages are not counted as a gift but as his due.” And Jeremiah 22:13, “Woe to him who builds his house by unrighteousness, and his upper rooms by injustice, who makes his neighbor serve him for nothing and does not give him his wages.” 1 Timothy 5:18b says, “The laborer deserves his wages.” There are many more but I believe you get the point and that none of you actually do any real work without getting paid somehow.
      I do wish they would resolve the issues of communication, though, because it is just not good business Christian or otherwise but especially Christian because of the claims being made in the name of Christ! I will make some calls and see what I can find out. Blessings!

    • One of the things allowed with this diet is meat…we should. Never stop eating meat..!! Eat vegs,not starchy veg(potatoes). No breads,no sugar,no sweets or any junk foods or processed foods..you can have fruits,heavy whipping cream,butter,coconut oil to name just a few of the things allowed.if someone every says stop eating meat,especially chicken..!!     • If you save a dollar a day it wont take you that long to save for this. Most people say they can’t afford this, but then spend their money on things that they don’t need, but on things that they want. Jesus tells us to love one another, encourage others and help out the poor. $47 to some people may mean doing without possible electricity. Are you sharing what God showed you to help others or just to help yourself? I am a single parent! I am Christain and love Jesus Christ with all my heart. If you consider the biblical research, and the compilation of all the materials that are being offered, it is worth the money being charged. For the person who is sincere about improving their health in a more natural method, they will invest the money. Everything in life is not FREE. And when God gives us direction that will benefit our fellow human beings, he does not say we should put in the labor and not receive compensation for our work.

    • Yes Martin it should be free knowledge to us online and by youtube. However people wanna make a name for themselves so books are written and it’s money money money. BUT if we read about food in the bible we can see that we can eat honey, bread, fish and drink milk etc. all in MODERATION. And before I forget, we must only eat when we are hungry and stop when we feel full. You will lose a lot of weight.
