Nootrobox Review

If you’ve ever shopped around for nootropic supplements, then you know how complicated it can be.

Which stack is the best?

Do you really need to take a cholinergic with your racetam?

Should I take Piracetam, Oxiracetam, Aniracetam – or all three?

Nootrobox promises to solve this problem by delivering the world’s best nootropic stacks in one convenient capsule.

Is Nootrobox all it’s cracked up to be? Find out today in our Nootrobox review.

What is Nootrobox?

Nootrobox

Nootrobox is a nootropic supplement manufacturer. The company sells a monthly nootropic subscription service which ranges in price from $9 per month to $53 per month.

Instead of delivering a box full of nootropics to your doorstep every month, Nootrobox has combined multiple nootropic compounds into a single supplement called RISE.

For now, RISE is the only supplement offered by Nootrobox. In the future, however, the company plans to release a more high-powered stack called SPRINT that focuses on energy, clarity, and “flow”.

By stacking multiple compounds into one pill, Nootrobox simplifies the process of taking nootropics. Instead of having to worry about how to balance different nootropics, or which ones to take at the same time, Nootrobox makes it easier than ever to take nootropic supplements.

“Nootropics”, for those who don’t know, is a general term for any drugs which enhance your brain. The internet hasn’t quite narrowed down a definition for nootropics. However, most people describe them as drugs with cognitive-enhancing properties with minimal side-effects.

Some stimulants – like caffeine – aren’t described as nootropics because they come with potential side effects, for example.

Who Makes Nootrobox?

Nootrobox was created by ex-Google employee Michael Brandt and Glassmap founder Geoffrey Woo. Both are Stanford graduates.

The two decided they were sick of trying to figure out which nootropic supplements to stack every time they wanted to boost their brain power. So they decided to create a nootropic stack in a single capsule.

The company has been featured on TechCrunch, Business Insider, Fusion, and Inc.

The company was founded in 2014. It quickly acquired a following across Silicon Valley. In February, 2015, the company expanded to Canada.

By 2021, analysts estimate that nootropics will be a $60 billion industry – and Nootrobox aims to be a big part of that industry.

How Does Nootrobox Work?

Nootrobox works in a fairly straightforward way.

Step 1) Go to Nootrobox.com and sign up

Step 2) Choose the Dabble (7 packages), Workhorse (30 packages), or Powerhouse (70 packages) option. Prices range from $9 per month for the Dabble to $53.10 per month for the Powerhouse.

Step 3) You can save 10% and subscribe to Nootrobox, which means a new shipment will be delivered every month. You can also order a single shipment of Nootrobox (add 10% to the prices listed above).

Step 4) Take the supplement every day, or as often as needed. Nootrobox recommends taking one supplement in the morning with a tall glass of water. Those who are taking the Powerhouse package (70 capsules per month) can add a capsule in the afternoon or with a snack.

The monthly packages are made from the exact same nootropics and ingredients. The only difference is in the number of packages you get.

Benefits of Nootrobox

Nootrobox promises to offer all of the following benefits:

— Increase Levels Of Neurotransmitters Associated With Learning And Memory

— Boost Vasodilation Of The Brain, Which Increases Blood And Oxygen Flow To The Brain

— Preserve And Protect The Brain’s Neurons By Removing Toxins

Together, these benefits lead to a clearer mental state, better focus, enhanced memory, and improved cognitive energy.

Nootrobox RISE Ingredients

Nootrobox Rise

Nootrobox currently only sells RISE (although SPRINT is coming soon). RISE is made from the following ingredients:

Bacopa (45% bacosides): 350mg
— L-theanine: 100mg
— Caffeine: 50mg

The caffeine + L-theanine stack is one of the most popular stacks in the nootropic community.

L-theanine amplifies the positive effects of caffeine – the increased energy and cognitive performance – while minimizing the negative effects – like the jitters.

Nootrobox claims all of the ingredients in Nootrobox are certified to be safe:

“Everything in RISE (i.e. Bacopa monnieri, L-theanine, and caffeine) is either GRAS (generally regarded as safe) and/or acceptable as a dietary supplement compound by the FDA.”

Aside from the above ingredients, RISE contains three ingredients in the capsule, including hydroxpropyl methylcellulose, vegetable source, and water.

Nootrobox claims you should not use more than 6 capsules per day.

Nootrobox SPRINT Ingredients

Nootrobox SPRINT

SPRINT is Nootrobox’s next major nootropic stack. It promises to be more energy-focused than RISE and calls itself “The solution to addictive, damaging smart drugs. Introducing a safe & responsible alternative.”

SPRINT aims to replicate the effects of Adderall and other attention-focusing drugs using a blend of all of the ingredients listed below:

— Caffeine (100mg)
L-theanine (200mg)
— Inositol (185mg)
— Vitamins B6 (20mg) and B12 (1mg)
— Glucuronolactone (185mg)

As you can see, SPRINT shares similar ingredients with RISE, but should be a more high-powered solution. It has twice as much caffeine and L-theanine alongside proven nootropics like vitamins B6 and B12.

A recent IndieGoGo campaign was successful in raising over $10,000 in support of SPRINT, which means it should hit the market before the end of 2015.

Where is Nootrobox Manufactured?

One of the annoying things about the nootropics industry is that many nootropics are manufactured in shady facilities in third-world countries with lax regulations.

That’s not the case with Nootrobox. Instead, as the official Nootrobox website explains, “All the components of RISE are sourced from independently lab verified nootropic and nutraceutical distributors from the United States. We then work with some of the biggest nutraceutical manufacturers to fulfill RISE in FDA cGMP (current good manufacturing processes) facilities in USA.”

Nootrobox Pricing

Nootrobox’s pricing is simple to understand:

Dabble (7 Packages): $9

Workhorse (30 Packages): $26.10

Powerhouse (70 Packages): $53.10

The prices listed above are assuming you’re ordering the monthly subscription to Nootrobox. If not, then you’ll need to add 10% to all the prices listed above.

Without the monthly subscription, you’ll pay $10 for Dabble, $29 for Workhorse, and $59 for Powerhouse.

Currently, Nootrobox only ships to the United States and Canada. Customers in Canada will need to pay an extra “Canadian shipping surcharge of $5” on all their orders.

Who Should Take Nootrobox?

Nootrobox has attracted a strong following in Silicon Valley. However, it’s started to rapidly expand to college kids across the United States and Canada.

If you’re attracted to the idea of nootropics – but don’t know where to start – then Nootrobox offers a convenient solution. It’s not the most high-powered nootropic supplement money can buy, but Nootrobox’s RISE is one of the safest and most convenient nootropic supplements available today.

  1. This is a totally underdosed and unimpressive array of nutraceutical/nootropic stack–and a very short stack at that!
A much better, more comprehensive and legit product is Neurella. I heard about it from a neurologist friend of mine who says he knows the guys that put this together and they have real science behind it. Looks like a bargain, too, at the price compared to if you sourced the ingredients individually. not to mention that it really is targeted to give serious dosing of well-known brain-enhancing vitamins, herbals, nutriments, anti-oxidants and anti-inflammatory substances.

  2. Total BS company with a total BS product. Doesn’t work, they are selling an idea, not a legitimate product. I contacted them to stop sending me more of this crap and charging my credit card. No response after 4 emails.

This company is truly a scam. This product is a scam. Now on to give this true life account of their garbage product to every other Nootropic review site. And adding in of course, their cowardly handling of ripped-off customers. I recommend this product and COMPANY TO NO ONE. Every opportunity I get to spread the truth, I will take. Maybe this company will start to change their ways once they feel the heat of disgruntled customers. Let’s see.

  3. Most of the ingredients in these products are available in FOOD! Plus, you can buy a bottle of 60-90 caps of melatonin (for sleep) for about $10. This is pure gimmick and a waste of money.

  4. My experience with using these products has been disappointing. The RISE has a nice calming effect, but doesn’t seem to offer much besides that. The SPRINT capsules gave me a little boost, but no more than a cup of coffee. No noted improvement to cognition, memory, mood, ambition, or anything else for that matter.
The YAWN product does help get me relaxed for bed, but no better than store bought melatonin.
I’ve been using all three products for 3 weeks now, hoping the cumulative theraputic effects would kick in. But so far, I’ve noticed absolutely no improvement in any key area of my life. And oddly enough I feel more distracted and scatterbrained.
I just don’t get it. I believe in the science of nootropics, and I believe these are quality products and the best of what’s available on the market. I just wish I could say they have helped me or made my life better in some way. Unfortunately, I just can’t. I spent $120 on pills that have had no noticeable positive effects to speak of.
I really really really wanted these to work and to write a positive review, but this isn’t the product I was searching for.
    My search continues.

  5. Not only did it not give me the “jump start I needed, It puts me to sleep right away.

I thought it was just me so I had a friend try it too and guess what, same thing!

Waste of money and bad customer service (extra packages I had ordered never arrived and when asked, they said it was caught in the delivery belt and just found it like 2 months later).
