Midogen Review – Is It Right For You?

Midogen is a new nutritional supplement created by a company named Live Cell Research. Here’s our Midogen review.

What is Midogen?

Midogen is an anti-aging nutritional supplement designed to be taken daily. The supplement claims to provide a powerful daily supply of antioxidants to boost the health of your body.

The power of Midogen lies in its combination of NADH, PQQ, and Trans-Resveratrol, three renowned anti-aging ingredients found in a wide variety of supplements. By taking Midogen, you can enjoy the benefits of all of these supplements and reduce your risk of disease while also reducing the visible effects of aging on your skin.

Live Cell Research calls its supplement a “breakthrough” in the science of aging and claims that the supplement has been tested by third parties to verify its benefits.

The supplement is sold for about $50 per bottle and is available exclusively online.

How Does Midogen Work?

Midogen claims to work using the power of mitochondria and NAD+.

Mitochondria – as you probably learned in junior high science class – are the powerhouses of your cells. They generate energy so your cells can do their jobs. To generate that energy, mitochondria break down carbs and fatty acids. This produces a chemical known as ATP (adenosine triphosphate). ATP is like the fuel for your cells.

Here’s the thing: researchers notice that ATP levels decrease as we age. That’s why we’re less energetic and have less endurance the older we get. Supplements like Midogen are based on the theory that we can raise ATP levels to boost cellular energy and reduce the effects of aging on the body.

Midogen encourages the production of ATP in your body by giving your body NADH. NADH is a precursor to NAD+, which is one of two molecules needed to produce ATP (FADH2 is the other one).

By adding NADH to your body, Midogen gives your body one of the most important ingredients needed to produce ATP and thereby raise cellular emery throughout the body.

At the same time, Midogen contains other ingredients purported to reduce the effects of aging on your body, including Pyrroloquinoline quinone, or PQQ, and Japanese Knotweed.

Midogen Ingredients

Live Cell Research has published the full ingredients chart for Midogen online. Here’s what that ingredients chart looks like:

As you can see, there are only three ingredients in Midogen, including Japanese Knotweed (which contains resveratrol, NADH, and PQQ).

Here’s a basic description of each ingredient:

— NADH: As mentioned above, NADH is a coenzyme vital to NAD+ production within the body.

— PQQ: PQQ, according to Live Cell Research, is “a coenzyme with the potential to reverse cellular aging by activating gens that induce mitochondrial biogenesis”, which is the spontaneous formation of new mitochondria in aging cells.

— Japanese Knotweed: Japanese Knotweed has been added to the supplement for its high levels of resveratrol. The knotweed used in Midogen has 50% trans-Resveratrol content. Resveratrol is the same ingredient found in red wine that floods your body with age-fighting antioxidants.

Benefits of Midogen

Live Cell Research advertises Midogen as having all of the following benefits:

  1. Can you take midogen with severe chrones kidney and dehydration problems and memory loss due to lack of oxygen

  2. I tried Niagen by Live Cell Research for a month, then tried to reorder it but it was out of stock. So I went with Midogen. Comparing the two, I must say that Niagen had the most effect on me. I felt more energetic, my sleep was deeper and more restful, and I had better mental clarity. Midogen didn’t do much for me except increase my energy by a little bit. If I had to choose, I’d go with Niagen. But since it is no longer available from Live Cell Research, I will have to order it from another company and hopefully, replicate the effects.

  3. I got my bottle last month and I can tell you this product works! I am 60 and I am feeling amazing. A friend told me she was taking another product that was so much better than Midogen so I stopped taking it got some of her recommended product but can tell you it does not compare. Starting back on Midogen full of energy and my insomnia is so undercontrol

  4. I started taking the Midogen today I am 64 year old female. I will be back in 30 days to let everyone know how it’s working for me. Good day to all!

  5. I am a 75 year old woman and feel a burst of new energy, mental alertness, sleep better and I have started to dream and can remember my dream, it’s amazing what Midogen can do for me at least.

  6. I just bought the niagen And the midogen will keep you posted since I have fibromyalgia and bursitis

  7. I’ve been using both of these supplements from LRC for almost a year and I’ve noticed an incredible difference in my energy levels and quality of sleep. Plus many other benefits. Too many to list but I’m very happy with the products and will continue to use them. Plus their customer service has always been very good.

  8. You can buy ingredients separately for far less than what you’ll pay LCR. Also, if you buy from LCR, you’ll get to enjoy the constant email upsell.
