  2. April 17, 2017 I am angry that I have never received a response to my last comment in March! I should have a refund on my charge account and instead I find I am again being billed for my “free” offers. My Credit Card company has been unable to help me….where do your disappointed clients go for redress from your big scan?

    • You aren’t going to get a reply from this site. This site has nothing to do with stopping further charges. It is only a vehicle to warn others not to purchase from these companies and to vent.

      You need to contact the companies directly and also your credit card. I fought both charges and did get them reversed. The companies never responded to my credit card’s denial of charges.

  3. What a scam! Under Ivanka Trump’s recommendation on FACEBOOK the free offer was made. Free WITH NO LIMITATIONS GIVEN – only that I would pay for postage. Now my Mastercard company has tried to get a refund but notified me today that I would have to deal with the MERCHANT – I did it by computer and have no merchant to go to for a refund! I want a refund of$98.71 for VOLITEFACESERUM and a refund of $99.01 for YOUTH IN YOU. I expect someone in the Luminis company to have the courtesy of a reply on my e-mail.

  4. you have to cancel within the 14 days. when I called they gave me a 75% discount for life> I only need it every 3 mo so I’m on there auto ship every 90 days at 24.75. they did send a bottle the next mo which I called to complain, they refunded me 9.00 on that bottle and sent a free bottle and I wont receive another one for 90 days. you have to call the # on the bottle which you cant read because it is sooooo small but I do have it!!! you need to call 1-877-494-9595 to get the real customer service people. good luck every one…I hate the scams that are out there but I had to do a lot of leg work to get where I needed to go to cancel or negotiate the price! and if u plan on cancelling do it the very next day that u receive your order to make sure you don’t miss the dead line ( by hours )

  10. I also fell for the free sample from this nefarious excuse for a company. They rob you without using a gun with their glib presentation of their free trial offer for the luminis serum and the belle epoque cream. I did not see the 14 day trial period stipulation. I thought I was getting the free samples and was paying only for the shipping. What a shock to me when I found out I was charged almost 200.00 for the free trial samples. Then to make matters worse, I was charged almost 200.00 when I received another shipment from them that I had no idea I was going to receive.
    Called the company in California, finally was able to talk to a lady and explained that I did not know what was going on with this deal. She informed me about he 14 day time period and that I was stuck with both orders because I had not cancelled within the 14 days. I wanted to return the second order but was told they do not accept returns. Here I am out almost 400.00. I informed the lady that I was going to file a dispute with my credit card company. She told me to go ahead, that they win over 90% of disputes.
    Called my credit card company, disputed the transactions and had them issue me a new card. At least these bottom dwellers will not be able to charge me anymore. A shame that I did not research first before I ordered so called free trial samples that wound of costing me almost 400.00.

    • I did exactly the same, but they somehow got charges thru on my new card (which should not have happened) but the credit card company said the charges transferred from my old card number because it was flagged as a subscription. Luckily I had gotten cancellation confirmation numbers from them when I had told them to stop sending me stuff and the credit card company backed out the charges on my new card with this proof. I also had the credit card company put a flag on the card account to deny any charges by a companies with those names. I disputed the original charges and am still waiting on the resolution. It has been a 3 month nightmare.

    • Lady luck was finally on my side for once. As I have posted earlier I was out almost 400.00. I had new credit card issued and filed a dispute. Received notification today from my credit card company that dispute was settled and all my costs were credited to my card. Hope other individuals have as much luck as I had.

  11. This is a scam! Police should be involved. They use the free trial to get your credit card and then charge at will. We had our Credit Card Company block them after being charged for a product we did not order.
    We received the product we ordered for the free trial, but then got shipped over $200 in products. We managed to cancel the next one before it shipped but got charged for the second product and were treated incredibly rudely by them when trying to get a refund. Please do not believe the bull about the wonders of this product. It is too good to be true and guess what, IT ISN’T TRUE and you will be stuck with a jar full of who knows what!!! Thank you to Capital One for their excellent service on our behalf! They are always top notch!

Call your local justice department, the consumer protection bureau, the FTC, your attorney general, the attorney General in California, which is where they’re shopping their packages from: 13210 Harbor Boulevard, suite 395 in lovely Garden Grove, CA 92843-1737. This is most certainly a scam. Unfair and deceptive practices is illegal. They haven’t charged my card yet because I caught it in time by reading this page and put an alert out and a block against them.

    I called all the numbers on all of these complaints. The one number I called was a poor lady that knows nothing about this company and she’s receiving several calls about it. Never ever use your debit card, it’s much easier and safer to refute a claim with your credit card.

    • Yep they tried to charge my card two or the times, each time changing their name but were unsuccessful. I’m so glad I caught it in time but I would have refuted it anyway. Funny how I sent them warning emails and got a response each time. They’ll be caught at some point maybe but most likely will change their name(s) and continue scamming.

  14. A COMPLETE SCAM!! I fell for it do not think you are getting a trial you will be charged 99.00 and set up on a subscription. I had to have my credit card company (who are familiar with this company) call them to stop and dispute and they still charged me the next month for a shipping? had to fight it again. Service is absolutely rude, and unprofessional, even the dispute office with my credit card was shocked how they acted on the phone. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!

I am furious that companies like this Luminis Advanced Skin Care can continue to operate on the Internet by NOT disclosing, in a totally visible way, that this product is sold by signing up for automatic monthly delivery at almost $100 each month. Yes, I have been a victim of receiving my “trial” offer for a discounted shipping amount and 15 days later finding $98.71 charged to my credit card. I will fight against these totally unethical business practices that scam people out of their hard earned money.

My advice, cancel your cc cards or debit cards, request new ones, and then dispute the charges with your bank as it appears none of us agreed to or authorized such charges. I am so sorry to see so many of us being taken advantage of.

Isn’t it enough the government only gives them 800.00 dollars a month, I know some who make less. That is for housing, electric, water, gas , and food . She paid s & h. she was devastated to see that they had took 200 dollars out of her band account. OK here is what I did. Call 1-888-947-3564, call around 10ish or 11:00. ask to speak to a manager DO NOT TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER!!!!!!!!! What they don’t tell you is those who got second cream without ordering there is another number for the second. 877-494-9595. tell them you did not order this, they no problem , your account is cancelled and your money will be refunded in 5 to 7 days.

    Various sites advertises a free sample of these items, but if you do not call certain phone numbers and opt out in 14 days, your credit card will get charged ~$100.00 for each item sample. They claim it was in the terms, but I had thought I had read the terms (at least the ones I could see!) and did not see anything like this. The company claims it was in a click through page in small print and I should have clicked through.

    The company refuses to refund my money for my “free” trial since I did call to opt out until day 15 (when I saw two charges go through on my credit card). I missed the 14 day OPT OUT period by 8 hours! I am now stuck paying $200 for junk I don’t even like.

    Warning to other purchasers – The company also puts you on a program where they ship you out $200 of stuff each month and automatically charge your card! If you do sign up for a free trial, make sure you call the “extremely hard to find phone numbers” to OPT OUT before day 14 and tell them you want no additional shipments because if you do not, they will continue to charge you $200 a month. When you opt out, get confirmation numbers – if you have a confirmation number to provide your credit card company, the credit card company said it would dispute the charges. This is the “gift” that just won’t quit taking money from you!

    By the way – in my opinion, the products do not work like advertised. In my opinion, Origins products are much better!
    Shame on me for getting taken and for not reading all the fine print or clicking thru on all term links (I usually know better!). I wanted to post this to warn other would be buyers of this product.

They gave the bank a phone number for another company, Valere Skin Serum that told me for the last 2 weeks they have received calls from persons about these products and unauthorized charges. The Customer Service Rep I talk to said in the Terms and agreement if you don’t call back they charge you full price, then every month so in reality it is not a trial it is a SCAM. Copy and paste this PUT ON it on your FACEBOOK, PINTEREST, TWEET it to your followers, Send in information to your STATE Attorney office and the Better Business Bureau, There are also news outlets that investigate these type of bogus companies. The trial said Luminis and Bella skin and eye serum. The bank had ZIPFAST Youth and Powerful Youth as companies. SPREAD THE WORD>>>FRAUD!!!!!!

  29. Total scam. I placed an order for one trial and was automatically charged for two items. Called the company immediately to cancel and was on hold for an hour. When I finally reached a rep was told it was too late to cancel. They never explained the “TRIAL” and I was then charged 90.00 for each product. Not only that but I almost needed a private eye to get a number to call them to cancel. I’m out two hundred bucks for a crappie product.

      • I’m not sure which products you have but here are two numbers. 877 497 1088 is for the facial treatment and 877 494 9595 for the eye serum. Good luck and they will return your call if the wait is long. They won’t, however, refund anything.

      • I had ordered through my credit card, and my credit company( which is familiar with this scam company), and we did a conference call and was able to get 75% back but that is as much as they will refund. I also put a merchant block. Good luck

    • YEP! I WAS ON hold for over 45 minutes for 2 days in a ROW. I can’t stay on hold for over 2 hours one hour for each product! Oh and it is 14 days from the day you ordered it even though it takes close to a week to get them! I was 1 day over and they refused to give me refund and the customer service for the eye cream was rude and obnoxious! The add also says guaranteed to work! Well it doesn’t work! So where is my freaking money???? Lies and Scammers! I also had to get the phone number for the eye cream from the face cream people as the 2 phone numbers I had were to the same company! So even if I had wanted to cancel within the 14 days ! couldn’t!

  30. First of all let me tell you you cannot find any information on these companies online. You will not find real testimonies and he will not even find a real website. I was stupid enough not to do my research. If it sounds too good to be true it usually is. And this case it certainly was. What they don’t mention is that they also Rob your bank account later on. For way more than this product is even worse. Then when you try to reach the company you do reach some very rude argumentative people. They will not give you a phone number to corporate. And when you ask to talk to their boss they need you in a maze full of people that do not give you to a boss. Then they tell you they cannot give you a corporate phone number because they don’t have the security clearance. This is a huge scam! Do not fall for it! I wouldn’t even chance it and put that trash on your skin because it does not tell you the ingredients. Go with a real company that cares about its customers. Go with names you can trust.
