Louvella Skin Serum Review

Louvella Skin Serum is a recently-released skin cream that claims to brighten your skin’s appearance using natural ingredients. Here’s our Louvella Skin Serum review.

What is Louvella Skin Serum?

Louvella Skin Serum is an anti-aging skin cream that claims to help you restore your radiant, firm skin and brighten your skin’s appearance.

The cream is available through an online trial offer. Just like with other anti-aging skin care trials seen online today, Louvella’s “free” trial is a bit of trickery: you only pay $5 today, but your credit card is silently pre-authorized for hundreds of dollars of charges that won’t go through for 2 to 4 weeks after you receive your order. You can learn more details about this autoship trial program below.

Some of the promised benefits of Louvella Skin Serum include:

Brighten Skin’s Appearance
— Restore Your Radiant, Firmer Skin
— Smooth Out The Look Of Stubborn Fine Lines

The offer is exclusively available to residents of the United States. There’s also a limit of 1 trial per customer – although it seems like it’s very easy to get around that restriction despite what the manufacturer claims.

How Does Louvella Skin Serum Work?

Louvella Skin Serum works by hydrating our skin and encouraging the production of the skin’s natural defenses. Here’s what the manufacturer has to say about the mechanisms behind Louvella Skin Serum’s formula:

“As we age, our bodies produce less and less collagen, leading to the formation of wrinkles and fine lines. Most anti-aging products use fragments of hydrolyzed collagen containing molecules too large for the skin with conventional formulas. Louvella's breakthrough formula delivers whole collagen molecules to the skin.”

Delivering whole collagen molecules into your skin isn’t exactly new: plenty of other skin cream manufacturers use similar techniques to improve skin tone.

The manufacturer of Louvella Skin Serum makes lots of nice promises about the way in which the product works. However, they haven’t posted any evidence of clinical trials or scientific testing for the product. It would have been beneficial to see how the cream works in the real world as opposed to just reading promises made by the manufacturer.

Louvella Skin Serum Ingredients

The word “ingredients” is only mentioned once on the Louvella Skin Serum official sales page. The only time the manufacturer mentions the word “ingredients” is in the following sentence:

“Active ingredients facilitate in trapping moisture, which in turn hydrates the skin and prevents cracking.”

There’s no other information about the ingredients used in the formula. Are they natural? Organic? Syndetic? Made in a certified US laboratory? Manufactured in a Chinese factory? Since the manufacturer of Louvella Skin Serum never lists this information, we’re left to totally guess about the ingredients.

How to Buy Louvella Skin Serum

Louvella Skin Serum is available exclusively through an online trial offer. It’s also only available to US residents. You can’t just buy one full-sized package of Louvella Skin Serum: you have to buy it through the trial offer.

Unfortunately, that trial offer isn’t as cheap as it first appears to be. Here’s what you need to know about it:

— The trial charges you $3.96 for shipping and $0.99 for handling, for a total of a $4.95 charge you pay today

— After entering your credit card to pay that charge, your credit card is silently pre-authorized for about $200 of additional charges

— 14 days after you first ordered your trial, those pre-authorized charges will begin to go through. The first charge is for $97.83. That covers the full-sized bottle of Louvella you have already received. The second charge is for $97.83 + $4.95 shipping and handling, and that charge will go in 14 days after the first charge.

— Your credit card will continue to be charged $97.83 + $4.95 every month until you call up the company to cancel your subscription. If you never cancel, the company will continue charging your credit card for life.

Basically, this is a scam. But legally, the manufacturer informed you of all these charges. If you look very carefully at the bottom of the Louvella Skin Serum ordering page, you’ll see that the manufacturer straight up tells you that you’re going to be charged $97.83 for your purchase, and that you’ll continue to be charged that price plus shipping every month for the rest of your life until you cancel.

They’re not technically lying to you. However, since they make this information deliberately hard to find and read, it’s obvious that the manufacturer is trying to scam you.

Who Makes Louvella Skin Serum?

Louvella Skin Serum is made by a company named Louvella Skin Care. That company lists its “corporate address” as the following:

Louvella Skin Care
PO Box 810
North Hollywood, CA 91603

If you need to contact the company to request a refund or to cancel the autoship program, then you’ll need to contact their customer service team at 1-800-309-9915 between 9am and 5pm EST.

The “corporate headquarters” listed above isn’t even an address: you can’t just give someone a PO Box number and a city. Thus, searching for PO Box 810 in North Hollywood, CA doesn’t give you any relevant results.

The company’s return address, however, is listed as 12924 Pierce Street in Pacoima, California 91331.

When you search for that address online, you’ll get plenty of other relevant results. That address is associated with companies like Juvalift Skin, Natural Balance Pet Foods, and Virility Direct, for example, all of which appear to have used some sort of autoship program similar to Louvella Skin Serum.

Ultimately, paying over $100 for a skin cream with unlisted ingredients, zero clinical trials, and scammy marketing approaches is a very bad idea. That’s why we recommend avoiding Louvella Skin Serum.
