Living With Pain CBD – Legal Clinical Trial Cannabidiol Pain Study?

on

CBD, or cannabinoid products, are the most promising natural health development for the treatment of chronic pain conditions in the last decade. Recent changes to the legislation surrounding non-psychoactive cannabis or hemp products in the United States have made a new generation of natural products available that are able to reverse the root causes of chronic pain conditions without the use of dangerous or addictive chemicals.

While CBD products are derived from the cannabis plant, they are vastly different from products that are made for the recreational market, which is only legal in a select few states. CBD products typically contains less than 0.03% THC, which is the active psychoactive ingredient in recreational cannabis products.

Instead, CBD products are composed entirely from cannabinoids. These unique compounds are found in large amounts in the stalk and stem of the cannabis or hemp plant, and are able to modulate the endocannabinoid system of the human body.

CBD products can be used in a variety of different ways- when applied as a topical solution, cannabinoids have been clinically proven to alleviate joint pain and muscle soreness, as well as promote healthier skin. When used as a supplement, either in capsule form or sublingually, CBD is able to dramatically lower the inflammatory response of the body, alleviating the symptoms of many different systemic health conditions.

Recent clinical investigations into the benefits of CBD oils and extracts have found that they are able to assist diabetic individuals in managing their blood sugar levels, and even show a great deal of promise in preventing the onset of grand mal seizures in epileptic individuals.

There are currently thousands of different clinical trials being conducted in research institutions and universities across the United States that present individuals suffering from chronic pain conditions with a new way to access the powerful health benefits of CBD products. Gaining entry into these trials, however, can be difficult, as they are hard to locate and identify.

  1. I’d like to sign of for a trial. I’m 68 years of age. I have been on codeine for over 50 years and Id like to get off off that if possible. I had a motorcycle accident and suffered a lower lumbar (L4 & L3) spine fracture, compound fracture of right wrist, and an injury to the left hip area. The codeine is loosing its effectiveness unless I take 180 mgs (3 x 60mg tablets) per day which causes drowsiness and blurred thinking. Look forward to hearing from you., Thanks
