Obviously, these are similar claims to the ones made by other nutritional supplements for men sold online. Horlaxen also claims that it’s clinically proven to provide all of the following benefits:
- 52% muscle growth
- 42% increased endurance
- 47% reduced exhaustion
- Increases energy levels by 283%
- Enhances libido 66%
- Boosts free testosterone levels by 140%
It’s unclear how Horlaxen measured these stats or came up with the numbers. They don’t cite any clinical trials or scientific research.
Once you get past the marketing slogans, you’ll learn that Horlaxen is a straightforward nitric oxide supplements. Let’s take a closer look at how it works.
How Does Horlaxen Work?
Horlaxen claims to work as a straightforward nitric oxide supplement that also has a dual effect of raising testosterone levels and supporting muscle growth.
Horlaxen says it works “literally at the molecular level” with your DNA, helping to create well-defined muscles as you sleep.
Some of the so-called “proven effects” of Horlaxen include all of the following:
-Build lean muscle mass
-Increase nitic oxide production
-Eliminate lactic acid, ammonia, and free radicals
-Heal cracked and damaged muscles
-Enhanced ATP (cellular energy production)
Typically with supplements, most of the sales page discusses how the product works. Horlaxen, however, takes a different approach, spending most of its sales page and packaging explaining how their supplement is the secret that “super muscle men” use to attract women – the same women you can’t get.
Basically, Horlaxen makes you feel like an idiot for not taking this supplement while hyping up the benefits. They even call you a Frauenversteher who drinks Gatorade and protein shakes.
The manufacturer even makes absurd claims about how there are “no side effects” and “Horlaxen is better than steroids”. Seriously, that’s the word for word explanation (in German) on the Horlaxen sales page (it specifically says “Deshalb ist Horlaxen besser als Steroide.”
Ultimately, once you get past all of the weird marketing, you’ll learn that there’s just one single ingredient in Horlaxen: L-Arginine.
Horlaxen Ingredients
Each 2 capsule serving of Horlaxen contains 450mg of L-Arginine alpha ketoglutarate. That’s the only listed ingredient. It’s unclear why this is listed as a proprietary formula (typically, this is used when there are multiple ingredients).
The only other listed ingredients are gelatin, magnesium stearate, and silica.
L-arginine is a popular amino acid used by bodybuilders to boost vascularity before a workout. It’s clinically proven to widen blood vessels and enhance athletic performance. It’s filled with scientific evidence that it works as advertised.
The only problem with Horlaxen’s L-arginine is that it’s found in a ludicrously small dose.
Typically, bodybuilders take L-arginine in doses of 3000 to 6000mg – which is many times stronger than the 450mg total in a daily dose of Horlaxen. At a dose of 450mg, Horlaxen is unlikely to have a very noticeable effect on your body or the nitric oxide in your bloodstream.
The other problem is that at this price range, you expect to see a very strong dose: Horlaxen is priced significantly higher than most conventional L-arginine supplements on the market. So you’re paying a lot more money for a lot less formula.

Should You Take Horlaxen to Improve Lean Muscle Mass?
Horlaxen is a nutritional supplement targeted towards German language-speakers in Europe. The supplement makes many of the same claims seen on English-language nutritional supplements – like better sexual performance and better lean muscle mass growth.
Horlaxen, however, makes certain claims that are too bold, like that it’s “better than steroids”.
The big problem is that Horlaxen doesn’t have the science to back up its bold claims. The formula contains a daily dose of just 450mg of L-arginine. Typically, bodybuilders take 3000 to 6000mg of that supplement per dose – which makes Horlaxen appear relatively weak.
Despite the weak dose, Horlaxen still charges a whopping 50 Euros per bottle. At this price range, you can get better supplements at a higher dose and a lower price – so it’s hard to recommend Horlaxen despite the bold claims made by the manufacturer.
