Force Factor VolcaNO Review

Force Factor VolcaNO is a pre-workout supplement that promises to raise your nitric oxide to “explosive” levels. Here’s our review.

What is Force Factor VolcaNO?

Force Factor VolcaNO is a pre-workout supplement that promises to amplify your energy and power by raising your nitric oxide levels.

As the name of the supplement suggests, Force Factor VolcaNO wants to make your nitric oxide levels “explode” like a “volcano”. Get it?

Some of the promised benefits of the supplement include:

— Amplify Energy And Power
— Boost Strength And Endurance
— Improve Muscle Mass And Recovery

The supplement is priced at $69.99 from the official website.

How Does Force Factor VolcaNO Work?

Force Factor VolcaNO claims to work by boosting nitric oxide levels within your body. Nitric oxide, for those who don’t know, is a chemical that acts as a vasodilator, which means it widens your blood vessels.

All of us have nitric oxide within our body right now. Your body is producing it constantly through natural processes.

However, you can enjoy athletic performance benefits by raising nitric oxide levels, making your blood vessels wider and theoretically increasing your pump and endurance.

With that in mind Preworkout supplements artificially increase the production of NO within the body using a wide range of natural ingredients.

So which ingredients does VolcaNO use?

VolcaNO combines NO-boosting ingredients like L-citrulline, agmatine sulfate, and L-norvaline with a creatine blend.

L-citrulline is an amino acid found in many popular bodybuilding supplements and pre-workouts.

L-norvaline is another amino acid that is less common than L-citrulline but still relatively popular.

Agmantine sulfate, however, is one compound that you may not have heard of. This compound is a metabolite of arginine, which is an amino acid that “is also a part of the NO cycle” according to the manufacturer of VolcaNO.

Finally, the creatine comes in the form of a formula called the Creatine Strength Complex. That complex includes CON-CRET, which is a branded form of creatine HCL. This creatine formula also includes amino acids like L-methionine and L-glycine.

Basically, VolcaNO floods your body with the amino acids it needs to produce higher levels of nitric oxide. When your body can’t produce these amino acids on its own, it can’t produce nitric oxide.

Creatine, on the other hand, is used to flood your muscles with water, which can boost your endurance even further.

VolcaNO Ingredients

VolcaNO Ingredients

All of the above benefits sound great, right? Based on the above information, it seems like VolcaNO uses proven ingredients and amino acids to boost nitric oxide production within the body.

Unfortunately, we don’t actually know the dosage of any of these ingredients but one: we know there’s 1mg of vitamin B6 in the formula. Beyond that, we don’t know anything else about VolcaNO’s dosages.

Here’s what the manufacturer gives us for a supplements facts list:

As you can see, all of the ingredients but one are hidden within a proprietary blend called the Nitric Oxide Muscle Matrix.

This makes it impossible to determine the benefits of VolcaNO. For example, we know that studies have shown that L-citrulline works best when taken in doses between 1,000mg and 3,000mg. In fact, doctors often prescribe these doses to treat erectile dysfunction.

Since the total formula in VolcaNO contains 1520mg of L-citrulline and several other ingredients, there certainly isn’t a high enough dose to have any major effect on your body – especially if you weigh over 200 pounds or so and require a larger dose (some users recommend taking up to 8 capsules per day).

Making matters worse is that VolcaNO has never been studied in a clinical setting by an independent testing group – so there’s no evidence backing up its claims.

VolcaNO Pricing

In addition to its weak ingredients, another common complaint about VolcaNO is its high price tag.

VolcaNO is priced at a whopping $69.99 from the official manufacturer’s website, ForceFactor.com, in packages of 120 capsules.

On Amazon, you can find it for a slightly lower price of $47.90 for the same 120 capsule package.

GNC also sells it at a member price of $59.99 although non-members will pay $69.99.

VolcaNO Free Trial

There’s also a free trial offer for VolcaNO floating around the internet. That free trial offer promises to send you a sample in exchange for inputting your height, weight, goal weight, and fitness goals.

If you go through the steps to get that free trial, you’ll realize that it’s setup as a bit of an autoship scam. Here’s how the trial works:

— Everyone qualifies for the trial regardless of your weight or fitness goals (so don’t be fooled into thinking you’re special)

— You pay $4.99 for the “free” sample’s shipping and handling

— You have 18 days to receive the product in the mail, try it out, and cancel your membership. If you don’t do those things within 18 days, then you’ll be charged the full sales price of $69.99 + $4.99 shipping and handling and you’ll receive a full month’s supply in the mail a few days later.

— You will continue receiving charges of $74.98 ($69.99 + $4.99 S+H) on your credit card every month thereafter until you call Force Factor to cancel.

Ultimately, VolcaNO’s free trial isn’t quite as bad as other free trials we’ve seen in the bodybuilding community. If you call the company before day 18, then you’ll receive no further charges or products. You also don’t have to mail your sample product back to the company. That’s yours to keep.

Will Force Factor VolcaNO Push You to the Next Level?

VolcaNO is a relatively underpowered and overpriced bodybuilding supplement that makes enormous promises about its ability to boost your athletic performance – but features little evidence to back up those claims. The lack of ingredient dosage information suggests that the company isn’t proud of advertising its dosages – which isn’t good when you’re trying to boost athletic performance.

For all of these reasons, VolcaNO probably isn’t the bodybuilding supplement that will push you to the next level.
