Clenbuterol – NFL Performance Enhancing Drug Steroid?

Clenbuterol PED Review – Is It Illegal?

Clenbuterol is a popular performance enhancing drug (PED) and weight loss treatment used by people around the world. The NFL recently warned that players who ate steaks from Mexico could test positive for the PED. Here’s what you need to know.

What is Clenbuterol?

Clenbuterol is a steroid that is traditionally used to treat breathing disorders like asthma. However, the steroid has never been approved by the FDA and is considered an illegal performance enhancing drug in the world of professional sports.

Clenbuterol works in a different way than most steroids. It primarily works as a fat burner and thermogenic aid. After you take Clenbuterol (often abbreviated to “Clen”), your body induces thermogenesis, which basically means it heats up. This can melt away fat cells. Some bodybuilders will take Clen prior to an athletic competition to enhance a cut.

How Does Clenbuterol Work?

Clenbuterol works by targeting the sympathomimetic nervous system. There are multiple parts of the sympathomimetic nervous system, but Clenbuterol specifically stimulates the parts related to breathing problems and metabolism.

Instead of actively burning fat by attacking fat cells, Clenbuterol stimulates metabolism by increasing the body’s temperature. When your body is hotter, you burn fat at a greater rate.

Clenbuterol works as a stimulant first and an anabolic steroid second. The stimulant effects of Clenbuterol can be quite powerful: some people may experience side effects like shaky hands and a jittery or wired feeling – like the feeling if you just drank 5 cups of coffee. Most people will notice increased sweating – especially if you exercise while using Clenbuterol.

The anabolic effects of Clenbuterol are secondary. They’re not nearly as powerful as traditional anabolic steroids. In fact, many people take Clen as a post cycle therapy (PCT) after a stronger cycle of anabolic steroids.

There’s one big problem with using Clenbuterol as an anabolic steroid: it doesn’t work that way in humans. A number of animal tests (including test on rats) have shown that Clenbuterol works as an anabolic steroid, but no study has shown that Clenbuterol has anabolic effects in humans.

Ultimately, Clenbuterol works primarily as a fat burner and heats up your body. Don’t expect it to cause testosterone levels to skyrocket. However, if you’re looking to cut away fat and need an extra boost, then Clen may be exactly what you’re looking for.

The NFL is Warning Players About Ingesting Clenbuterol from Mexican and Chinese Steaks

Have you eaten a steak from Mexico or China lately? If so, you may have inadvertently consumed Clenbuterol.

The NFL sent out a warning to the NFL Players Association this past week stating that there is evidence meat produced in China and Mexico may be contaminated with Clenbuterol.

Players were advised against eating large quantities of meat while visiting Mexico or China. The NFL didn’t release the warning themselves, but a number of players took to Twitter to share the email they received.

Basically, ranchers in China and Mexico are feeding Clenbuterol to their cows to try to make them meatier. As mentioned above, Clenbuterol’s anabolic effects are primarily seen in animals and not humans.

This isn’t some an unnecessary warning by the NFL: apparently, Texans left tackle Duane Brown tested positive for Clenbuterol last season after he took a bye-week trip to Mexico, where he ate enough Mexican beef to test positive for the substance. Brown was later cleared after a months-long investigation.

On November 21, 2016, the Oakland Raiders will play the Houston Texans on Monday Night Football in Mexico City.

It’s Surprisingly Popular Among Celebrities

Have you ever wondered how celebrities look so skinny and in-shape all the time? Well, many of them use Clenbuterol – seriously!

There have been stories published about how celebrities like Victoria Beckham, Britney Spears, and Lindsay Lohan have all used Clenbuterol as an off-label weight loss drug. It provides similar effects to ephedrine, the wildly-popular weight loss drug that was banned by the FDA for its dangerous side effects (like cardiovascular problems).

How to Buy Clenbuterol

Clenbuterol hydrochloride is widely available and reasonably-priced. It’s a legal substance throughout most of the world, where it’s approved as a treatment for asthma.

As mentioned above, the United States FDA has never approved the use of Clenbuterol as a treatment for asthma. That’s why Clenbuterol is not manufactured anywhere in the United States. So if somebody tries to sell you “US-made Clenbuterol”, don’t buy it. They’re lying to you.

Many international suppliers and websites sell Clenbuterol, including most anabolic steroid retailers you find online. The chemical is also easily counterfeited. In short, you can find many black market retailers online selling Clenbuterol at a fairly cheap price.

If you don’t want to give your credit card information to a drug dealer online, then your next best option is to buy it through a research chemical lab (RCL) in the United States. RCLs are a legal way to purchase banned substances and drugs as long as you use it exclusively for research purposes. If you’re not using it for research purposes, then you’re breaking the law. However, this is a popular loophole for many Clenbuterol buyers.
